Lost Love

Chapter 9 - Surprise!

The maid did what he asked her to do, she called the rest to join us in the living room. I couldn't stop thinking and wondering what should I tell him when he steps in front of me. I was sitting on the couch looking at the door that leads to the corridor inside, I was waiting for him to show up with the rest of them but everything I wished for vanished. Four Vampires were standing in the door way, looking at us and wondering who we are but none of them was the one I was waiting for, none of them was Nate! 

My heart broke into pieces, it had the biggest scar ever',I was sure that this time he was here but I was wrong,and maybe Alli was right in the first place.

It's the loneliest feeling in the world - to find yourself standing up when everyone else is sitting down. To have everybody look at you and say what's the matter with her? I know what it feels like. Walking down an empty street, listening to the sound of your own footsteps. Shutters closed, blinds drawn, doors locked against you. And you aren't sure whether you're walking toward something, or if you're just walking away.

All I wanted was to find the one I love, no harm no pain but everything went to the opposite of my wishes. I couldn't act like I was disappointed with something, I had to keep on going with my night with the rest. Isaac wanted to celebrate our night with them in the house and he ordered some people to come inside the living room with us. I could smell they were not vampires, they had veins bumping through their body. I could see their neck veins from a mile away, I was thirsty , I wanted to drink every single drop of their blood. Isaac ordered them to stand in line and walk one by one towards us, everyone of us is going to have a human fresh blood to feed on tonight. 

Isaac was living a royal life as a vampire , but I wonder how he did that! ? How come he is so rich,and vampires are so loyal to him? We had fun, like never before but now it was time to head to bed, we were all exhausted. I went upstairs in the room that Isaac gave me and closed the door behind me so no one can disturb me. I undressed the clothes and dressed up my pyjamas. Millions of thoughts running through my mind, I couldn't sleep'. I layed down on the bed and kept on staring at the wall, how I wish the wall can talk right now! 

I never knew love could hurt this much. I never thought that my true love was going to hurt me like this. I remember my mother telling me that one day I am going to have a husband and a family, and I'll be happy living my life with them. She was so wrong! I chose a difficult path in my life , and it's all my fault that I am in this situation right now. I once wanted to be with him with all costs and I told him to turn me , but now all I am is a lonely lost vampire,without no one to love.

In the morning I Dressed up the same clothes as yesterday,and went downstairs. Alli was already awake as usual, she doesn't really like to sleep-I guess. She was standing next to the front door,ready to leave. I called Isaac and the rest of the vampires to say my goodbyes to them. Isaac made it clear that If I ever find Nate I will bring him to him,to celebrate some lost time together.

Now it's the hard part of the day, where on earth are we going to look for him! 

I insisted to look every abandoned house in the forest maybe he 's living there, but it was all for nothing! we already looked in several places and no traces of Nate... I was starting to think that Nate is dead,for real. 

I stopped and stared at Alli '' We shall go home now''.

Giving up is not something that we have to do but something it's the right thing to do.Things don't go wrong and break your heart so you can become bitter and give up. They happen to break you down and build you up so you can be all that you were intended to be. Maybe our destiny is meant to be separated from each other. We were heading to our houses when Alli got an idea, '' You shall come and live with me '' she said happily.

I think she already knew my answer it was defiantly yes. I could imagine my life with Alli,it's going to be great. 

I rushed home and packed my stuff, leaving memories behind is a good start to move on without him.

First day at Alli was amazing, she brought humans for breakfast and dinner and she also made me feel like a princess'! She did all the job and made me feel special, for once. I am enjoying my life more than ever, my life with Alli is great. Feeding whenever I am hungry without the hesitation to go for haunt and partying all day and night! We were sitting on the bed chatting and drinking wine. Alli told me some stories about her past. She's 100 years older than me. She had way too many stories to tell me, not enough for one night. She told me stories about her love life about her family and about hunters that tried to haunt her down. I enjoyed the stories so much that I kept on asking questions. She promised me that she will go with me in the cemetery that is on the other site of the country just to show me something very important ! She didn't want to tell me what was it , she said she will give me a surprise, I hate surprises but I had to wait. 

Alli woke me up early, we needed to prepare some stuff before we leave. It's a long way ahead.

The road was long and tough to make it without hesitations. Two days passed since we left town, it's finally time to meet the new town. It was big and too different than our town, but rather than that it was beautiful. 

Alli asked me to follow her and I obeyed. She was so sure I was going to enjoy what she was going to show me. We arrived at the destination, the cemetery is too big to be real ! Too much dead people buried here!

'' Do you see that tomb'' Alli pointed at it '' Sure , I ain't blind '' I giggled 

She walked towards it and I followed her. Alli seemed happy from the looks on her face.

''Elsie honey, I am going to show you something from the past. This is a tomb where my family,us vampires.. use to keep the hunters prisoners.''

When I heard that I was smiling like an idiot , i liked the idea of hunters prisoners. I was excited to see what it was like inside the tomb. 

We walked in the tomb and it smelled like blood still. How come it is still fresh smell. Alli stopped and stared at me , something was not right ! something is definitely wrong here. 

This tomb haven't been used from vampires for a long time , the blood is impossible to be still fresh. I started to feel scared, I don't know what is wrong with this tomb but it's not normal.

Alli walked inside slowly and she froze in front of the door, I asked her what's wrong but she was too shocked to talk. I walked closely to her , couldn't' believe my eyes! 

There were blood everywhere. The blood was still fresh on the wall and on the ground.

Someone was here! We might not be alone ...
