Lost Love

Chapter 10 - Found my lost love..

“Crap, are you thinking what I'm thinking?"

 ''Definetly '' 

''You do realize someone of our kind might be in trouble right? ''

Alli and I walked slowly inside the tomb. My hands shaking with cold and thoughts. The thoughts running in my brain of who might be the person that is injured in this tomb. 

I kept every thought for my self, having shared any with Alli for the rest of the day.

The tomb was dark, uncomfortable to stay in. I was starting to feel nervous , I wanted to get out safe and sound but first of all I wanted to help the person who is inside this tomb.

After we walked for about fifteen minutes we saw a big hole inside the tomb. It was darker than the tomb itself. We decided to walk slowly inside and take a look of what might be there. The blood still smelled fresh and even closer, we might be closer to the injured person. The hole inside the tomb was narrow , almost nothing can pass through. We had to stretch ourselves to pass through. Alli was in front of me,she passed before me. While she was almost at the end of the hole she shouted ' omg ' and left me with that. I was still behind her and haven't got any idea of what was happening inside the tomb.

I tried to walk faster in the narrow path to get to her immediately. After some time I managed to arrive next to Alli. She was on her knees with some guy on  her hand. The guy was laying down on the ground surrounded with blood. His clothes were all dirty and broken. I ran to them to give them my help. I couldn't' say a word when I saw the person on the ground. I couldn't believe my eyes, it was like a dream , a good and a bad dream in the same time. Nate was laying on the ground with his head on Alli's knees. 

''How , what .. why '' A lot of questions to ask without answers but this is defiantly not the right time to ask questions. 

Nate was in a bad shape, he had a stake in his belly and couldn't move to remove it. Someone attacked him and let him dying slowly with hunger on the ground. He couldn't remove the stake because he hasn't fed for a long time and he's without strength to do so. I removed the stake from his belly and helped Alli to get him up. We tried to help him the way we could, even though it was hard for us to make him move.

At some point we made it to the exit of this tomb. The way to our home is far away, we needed somewhere to stay the night at. Alli decided to go and look for a house near by , maybe we can ask them to stay the night and so. She left and I stayed with my love,trying to keep him strong. I gave him a little blood from my blood , but it was not enough for him to get on his knees. At least he had enough blood to open his eyes and get conscious. He was shocked to see me there with him but he even looked happy. He smiled at me and the first thing he said was '' I missed you babe ''. That literally made my day! I missed him as well ,  he couldn't even imagine how much I missed him and thought about him. I kissed his lips and told him not to talk, he's not able to speak with this type of health. After one hour Alli arrived with a car , she came to pick me and Nate from the living hell we're at. Instead of going at a random house to stay the night at, we are heading back home with this car. Now we have a ride , it's not going to be hard to go back home. 

Alli threw a bag full of blood, she found some animals during the way and killed them to give blood to Nate. I gave the bag to Nate and made him drink it. He was starting to get the normal color. He was having his natural self back. 

Nate closed his eyes and fell asleep, he haven't had some sleep for a long time. Me and Alli remained silent all the way back home, letting him get the best sleep he could. 

It was late and we are all tired, but finally we made it home safe. 

Nate stood out from the car and walked inside alone, we followed him inside and closed the door. 

He went to sit down on the couch,and asked me to join him. 

I went to sit next to Nate, he said he's going to explain to me what happened to him.

I was curious to know what happened to him but I was too happy to hear a bad news again. 

We drank some blood from the hospital bag to celebrate his return. Nate was hugging me and kissing me all the time, he was asking me to forgive him, because he left. 

'' I remember the day I left, the day I was going to leave you alone. I had no choice I hope you will understand why I did that, and forgive me. I hope we can start all over.''

Me and Alli sat down listening to him, his fifty years running away. I knew deep down that I am going to forgive him no matter what. This life is what you make it. No matter what, you're going to mess up sometimes, it's a universal truth. Love is like the wind, you can't see it but you can feel it. I hear them say, One of the keys to happiness is a bad memory. So in this case we'll have a bad memory to share together for the rest of our life. 

Nate continues his story telling about his past fifty years, why he left me and his previous life ... He made me and Alli cry with his words, he passed a hard time...I wasn't there to help him.

'' I had to run away from this town and go as far as I could. A bunch of hunters where trying to haunt me down, to take me into a laboratory, make experiments on me. They wanted to catch me and try to make me human. Which is impossible. 

They were sure about this that they wanted to haunt everyone I love, so they make sure I will go and save them. In this case they will be ready to catch me,when I go and save the person I love. Now I think you know why I left. I coulnd't let them catch you to make experiments on you , your the one I love and it would have been too hard for me to watch them treating you like a lab rat. '' 

He left me and her speechless, we just sat there and stared at him for the rest of the conversation. I can't believe that hunters can do this to us, we're not humans, we're dead but they treat us like dirt. How can someone catch someone else to experiment on them? What have this world ended to ? ! 

'' Let me finish what I have to say '' Nate said '' So, I ran away and it's been fifty years already. When I went in the town you found me to a hunter followed me there and he catch ed me , knocked me down with the stake you found in my belly. He took me in the tomb so no one will find me there. He told me that he's against the other hunters, he doesn't' agree with them trying to make me human again. He believed that I am an animal and I shall stay an animal. The reason why he took me in this tomb was simple, he injected me with something that makes me fall asleep for two straight days and I won't be able to get the stake out when I wake up. But Something right happens every now and than and that's when you guys showed up and saved my butt. '' 

His eyes were filled with tears, he was feeling happy to see me again but he was sad because of what the hunters did to him . I hugged him tight to me, it felt like the first time I hugged him. He left to protect me, he left to keep me safe. I thought that he doesn't love me any more but I was wrong. All he did was to protect our love and to protect me from the evil busters out there. 

Nate got up and went upstairs to take a good sleep after so long. I followed him to make him feel safe, tucked him in bed and kissed his forehead. He closed his eyes and fell to sleep like an angel. I went downstairs next to Alli , I wanted to thank her for everything she did to us.

'' Thank-you for everything, You deserve a crown '' I hugged her close to me smiling.

'' No need to thank me honey,that's what friends are for '' she replied with the most cute laugh.

Alli is one of the most amazing people in my life she helped me in my hard times and even in the good times. Now I am planning to leave the country with Nate and even Alli, she can come with us living all three together would be good. We can have each other's back, and we can live forever together. 

My life hasn't  been an easy one but at least I have a good friend I can trust and I have found the one I love , my lost love.
