I feel everyone's eyes on me. I'm embarrassed,defeated, and tired. I stand up once again before Maven has the chance to yank me off the ground. He still staring at me and then all of the sudden, he smacks me. I yelp and grab my cheek.
"How dare you stand without permission!" Maven roars once again.
I fill with rage. I summon my lighting letting it roam my veins. The feeling is foreign since I haven't done this in a while. But I felt my power. Maven calls for his guards but it's to late,i throw strides at him. He moves quick but not quick enough. My lightning hit
his shoulder and he groans.
