The sun kissed my skin signaling its time to wake up, I made my way to the bathroom and freshened up, I'm so hungry but I gotta go to Ned's, my friend's name and his bar restaurant in BGC.

I'm really not good in commuting, we studied the culture and society in school, and I've watched some documentaries, but being here in this real world, in order to survive, I need to adapt. I arrived there by asking questions to barkers on how to's. Some people were looking at me, some are gawking already, especially gays but I don't mind as long as they don't touch me, at all.

I missed this place, Ned is one of my best friend, he's straight, handsome, and no, he's not my type of guy, a friend is a friend, not more than that. His family is a good friend of ours, we grew up together, and when he knew that I'm gay, he accepted me, I cried and that gave me hope about my family before but not anymore since, whatever.

"Hey bro! Its been a while! Damn you!" Masayang bati ni Ned habang papalapit para yakapin ako.

Ang higpit ng yakap niya, "Condolences Mark" for a moment there bumalik na naman yung sakit, instead of letting my emotions kick in, 

"You, hey you, kainis ka! Ang ganda na ng Bar mo! Anyway maupo muna tayo, nagugutom nako, food please!" Grabe, ang ganda na ng bar niya, medyo lumaki at maraming tao. Andito kami ngayon sa office niya, sa 3rd floor.

"Ang cool ng office mo, to think na one year palang to, you managed to pull it off you twat!" Puri na may lait, ganyan ako, kami sa isa't isa

"Huh! Told yeah, so enough about me, parang namayat ka, we went to your parent's funeral last week, I'm so sorry" Malungkot na tugon nya, ayoko pa sana malaman kasi ang sakit pa

"Yeah, you know, I, oh boy lets talk about this later on, I don't want to cry, they'll just worry about me up there. And hey I'm famished af! ano na, asan na yung pagkaen?" ungot ko

"Sandali lang kasi, di ka makapag antay eno? baket? close?" pairitang sabi niya

"oo sobra, labyu, pls?" sabi ko with puppy eyes, para lang akong gago, heck I'm hungry as hell, ang layo ng pinanggalingan ko

"kala mo naman talaga, gago ka Mark, namiss kita!" sabi niya sabay yakap saken, like a big guy hug

"Tut! Get off me! Lakas mo makabromance dyan, sumbong kita kay Irene!" Irene is my girl best friend and also his fiancee, perfect couple silang dalawa, so tatlo kaming tropa na sabay sabay lumaki, ako lang naiwan na tuyot, not a chance I would think about having sex with anyone of them, like super gross lang.

"Sumbong mo! huh! Tinext ko na siya, any minute andito na yon" he said as we part

"Oo nga e, buti pa siya any minute andito na, eh yung pagkain ko kaya, sana any minute andito na din boss eno?"

"You're really that hungry?" then he laughed, minsan lang kasi akong mag astang parang glutton

He pressed the button on his table and said "Sige, iakyat niyo na yung food"

Just in time, sobrang nakakaexcite, it somehow made me happy, coz for the past days, I've felt lonely more than I ever could. Then I realized, I still have them, I'm so lucky.

Pagdating ng pagkaen, literal napanganga ako. Damn, these are all good! Amoy palang!

I took my time to smell the goodness before feasting over it with my mouth. Tuloy tuloy lang ang kain, parang walang bukas.
I ate in silence, no not that, as I munch through all the food.

"Oh my gad, Markyyyyy!" at naramdaman kong may yumakap sakin sa likod ko at hinalikan ako sa pisngi, I know that smell

"Oh gosh Irene!" hinarap ko siya at niyakap pabalik
