Reader's P.O.V.

I call you up when I know he's at home

I jump out of my skin when he picks up the phone

"Omg (F/n) I can't believe it!" I screamed into the phone, "I just read your message from yesterday, it is true?!"

"Well, (Y/n) I wouldn't know." Ashton, (F/n)'s brother, answered with a chuckle.

"Oh sorry Ashton," I say quickly while blushing, "is (F/n) there?"

"Yeah," he replied and movement was heard, "I'll go hand the phone to her."

I heard them talking as I waited for (F/n) to answer the phone. "(Y/n)?" She asked, "why didn't you call my phone?"

"Cuz you wouldn't answer," I whined, "I called and messaged asking about what you texted me yesterday."

"Oh wait," I heard shuffling on the other end, "that's why! My phone was off."

"Anyway Miss phone off," I teased, "mind if I come over to discuss that message?"

"Sure," she answered, "see you in a few." She hung up and I started getting ready to leave.

I got there in 10 minutes flat. I opened their door, "Honeyyyyyyy I'm home!" I practically sang.

"Awe babe you walk in like we're married," (F/n) teased from the kitchen.

"With the way we act and flirt might as well," I teased back and hugged her as she finished making some sandwichs.

"Now that is no proper way to propose, (Y/n)," (F/n) joked and handed me a sandwich.

"Ok," I got down on one knee, "will you, oh beautiful (F/n) Irwin, marry me?"

I lifted the sandwich like a ring as she laughed at me. "Of course my knight in skinny jeans!" She laughed even harder while saying that.

"Yay! Off to your room to gossip like a married couple!" I shouted, grabbed some more sandwiches and ran to her room as she died of laughter.

We gossiped some more. I found out her brother actually likes me back. She found out her crush, Justin, likes her back. We talked about a soon to be girls day, new favorites, and latest style trends that makes us question sanity. I had to leave soon for dinner so I said my goodbyes to her.

I heard some yelling and loud noise from the living room. Ashton must have some friends over. I passed them on the way to the door and I could swear Ash smiled at me.

Why can't I tell if he's looking at me?

Should I give him a smile?

Should I get up and leave?

I gave him a small smile. "Bye (Y/n)," Ash said and did a small wave to me. His friends looked up at me. I waved and quickly left.

I know it's strange

I don't know what I'm thinking

I really like him and according to my best friend he likes me. It's just how do I confess?

Shit. I forgot my phone on (F/n)s' bed. I back in and snatched it off her bed. "Forgot my phone but I'll see you girls day!" I yelled and heard her yell an 'ok' back over the shower water.

As I rushed back to the front door I noticed Ash and his friends weren't in the living room anymore. I heard loud noises from the kitchen though. Must be in there.

I started walking home. "Bye guys see you tomorrow for banding!" Ashton yelled from his garage as his friends left all yelling 'yes'.

Why do I have to like my best friends brother?! I don't want to. But I want to cuz he's always on my mind and he's so hot, protective, sweet, kind, lovable and can make the world stop with his giggle and dipples.

As soon as I stepped through the door my phone rang. "(F/n)? Did I forget something, again?" I asked as I answered.

"Not exactly," Ashton's voice answered back with a chuckle, "I forgot to ask something."

"Go ahead," I told him and walked to my room.

"Wanna see a movie with me this weekend?" Ash asked nervously.

"Yes! I mean- sure yeah sounds good," I tried to play it off cool but his giggle made smile to myself.

"See you then, (Y/n)," he giggled before hanging up.

I know it's strange

I don't know what he's thinking

But is it wrong

If I see him this weekend?

He's my BFB and I couldn't be happier that they're related.
