Reader's P.O.V.

My band and I were going to be doing some interview thing our manager set up. We were a new and upcoming band so our manager wanted to make us more known, what a better way than an interview.

"Our next guests are a lively bunch of ladies you guys may see hitting the charts soon!" The interviewer practically yelled, "with their new single, "Ready or not", (B/n)!" (A/n I know I know but its not a real song, at least I hope not, but go along with it😂)

We all ran out and did twirls and weird dances on the way. "So girls how does it feel to be here?" She asked and smiled at us.

"Pretty good I mean this interview kinda made us all a lil happier and excited," Christa answered for us and we all nodded.

"So do you girls have a stereotype of which member you are?" She asked and showed off her pearly whites.

"What do you mean?" Jenn asked kinda insulted but we were.

"Well like Christa is like mom of the group, Jenn the sassy goofball, Grace being the little sister and (Y/n) the flirty leader." She answered like it was obvious.

"Um excuse me," I practically snapped, "first off those kinda sound like female versions of stereotypes in boy bands and if you are implying we're a girl group you might want to tell your manager to get you another star or whatever on here cuz we'll leave."

"Um wait!" She exclaimed as we all went to stand, "I don't understand."

"WE'RE NOT A GIRL GROUP!" Grace almost yelled at her.

"We're not pop," Jenn explained, "we're punk."

"Yeah so please don't try to use stereotypes on us or call us a girl group," Christa said politely while calming a still fuming Grace, "we play instruments and dress in our own unique style so please don't insult us with those comments."

The interviewer nodded quickly and agreed to not insulting us. "I'm so sorry," she apologized, "I didn't know you'd be insulted."

We waved her off and Grace quietly said an apology to her. "Anyway ladies," she said trying to lighten the mood and get back to the interview, "we had four amazing guys on before you who were interested in your group."

"Who?" I asked without realizing.

"5 seconds of summer," she answered and smirked, "you kinda remind me of them."

"We'll have to look them up later," Jenn said and added that to her to-do list on her phone.

"Mmk and I believe now we'll answer some fan questions." The interviewer changed the subject and pointed to the large screen on the wall.

"First from twitter @(twitter name) would like to know what's your ideal date?" She read to us.

"Well @(twitter name)," I started, "I like dates where we don't have to say anything where just each others company makes us happy but I also like the idea of staying in Friday or Saturday night and playing video games or watching movies while eating pizza." (A/n I know this may not seem like a date to you but I like this and it kinda goes with the story)

The interviewer looked surprised. "You still sound like a boy, (Y/n)!" Grace joked and laughed with the rest of us.

"Still?" The interviewer, (A/n let's give her a name) Sheila asked still giggling, "is there a story there?"

"Well I used to play with the boys and thought girls were just awful so I never had a friend who was a girl until like 7th grade with these three dorks." I explained laughing at the memory.

"Wasn't it hard hanging out with boys only?" Sheila asked suddenly interested in my life's story.

"Not when I dressed, talked and played like one," I joked and nudged Jenn who laughed like a mad man at the dirty side of my comment.

"Mmm while you'll have to tell me all your stories another time," she laughed and patted my knee.

We continued the interview and soon it ended. We had played a few songs and told embarrassing stories about each other.

After everything was done we were allowed to stay backstage till the car came to pick us up.

We waited by the food they put out for us and the other guests. As we waited four guys looking like male versions of us walked up to us.

"Hi we're 5 seconds of summer," the curly haired boy introduced the lot, "I'm Ashton the drummer, this is Calum the bassist, Luke the lead singer and guitarist, and finally Michael lead guitarist." As he introduced them he pointed out who was who.

They all looked very attractive but Michael and Calum stood out to me the most. Michael because he seemed so unique and Calum because he played bass like me. (A/n now you do😂😂 the power of an author).

"Hi I'm Christa the lead guitarist," she started introducing us, "this is Jenn the drummer, Grace guitarist and lead singer, and finally (Y/n) the bassist."

We all waved and Jenn walked up to Ashton looked up at him and growled because even in 4 inch heels she only reached his shoulder. Taking a step back she flexed her arm with a very serious face. Ashton looked at her odd then flexed his bigger arm. She grumbled as we all laughed.

We all chatted and Michael and I stepped into our little world. "So video games and pizza on a Friday or Saturday?" He laughed and I cracked a smile.

"Yeah but I'm super competitive so they better be good gamers or they're screwed," I joked but looked at him

"You know you seem like my ideal girl," he turned to me and wrapped an arm around my waist, "wanna go on a date Saturday?"

I smirked at his nervous face. "Only if you buy the pizza and I get to pick the game," I replied and kissed his cheek.

"Deal." He kissed my lips as wolf whistles and cheers sent around our group.
