He couldn't believe it. Angel would be devastated when she woke up. She had grown so attached to the idea of having a baby. An ectopic pregnancy was the last thing on her mind. They had taken her back to do the removal.

Removal... A sick and twisted word.

"Justin, would you like something to drink?" Samantha had stayed with them. "There's a coffee machine down the hall..."

"I was wrong about the date of conception..." Justin took a deep breath. "Almost 10 weeks... I am so stupid..."

"Its not your fault. Its nobody's fault. It happens. She will be okay. You can have a baby later." Samantha tried to comfort her brother. It didn't work well.

"Justin, she's okay." Meg popped her head in the room where Justin sat. "She can leave tomorrow."

"What is she going to do? When she wakes up... When she knows...." Justin closed his eyes. "Please leave me alone."

Samantha nodded and walked out with Meg. "Meg... You've been around for a long time... I want your opinion..."

"Wait to tell your dad you're a carpet muncher." Meg smiled at Samantha's expression. "I've known for a while. You're also a Domme." Meg took Samantha's hand. "Wait until you're dad's not so mad at your brother for getting Angel pregnant."

"Meg... How do you do it?"

"Lots of waiting patiently and even more sex." She hugged Samantha. "It all seems to come down at one time. But once its resolved it will be better."

....

Nearly two month had passed since dinner at Justin's fathers house. He hadn't touched me since then. At night he didn't hold me like he use to. Work was agony. I felt more alone.

"Angel..." I looked up. "Ready for lunch?"

Nyda stood across from me. She tapped her fingers on my desk. "Let me ask Sir." I got up and made my way to his office. "Sir... May I take lunch now or do you need me to stay?" I knocked on the door and stuck my head in.

"Take a long lunch. Today is a slow day." He didn't turn around.

"Thank you, Sir." I closed the door slowly and grabbed my purse. I walked with her to her car and got in.

"We've got one stop to make before we go to lunch. Hope you don't mind." She smiled at me.

"Its whatever..." I leaned against the window and let the world go by.

"We're here!"

I looked up and saw a small little house in a small little neighborhood with a graying man and woman standing out front. They smiled as I got out.

I began to cry. "Mom... Dad..." They threw their arms around me and cried with me. We must have looked like a mess standing in their front yard crying and hugging each other. Nyda walked inside.

Once we collected ourselves enough to make our way inside, I discovered my parents had made tea. Nyda sat eating. She motioned to the big pot of soup on the stove.

"Angel... How have you been?" My parents and I had had a falling out when I first moved in with my old Dom. I was too prideful to talk to them when he dismissed me.

"I've been better..." I took a seat. "My Dom is distant now..."

My mom nodded taking my hands in hers. She smiled her motherly smile. "You are going to be okay. He's a fool if he thinks he doesn't need you."

My dad put a bowl in front of me. "He loves you... You know that right?"

"It doesn't feel that way, dad." I began crying again. "He can't even look at me..."

"Angel," Nyda finally spoke. "Imma say this as nice as I can without being an ass. You have to get up, brush yourself off, and get back on the horse. You have been down. And you have every right to be. But its time to work on healing."

My dad shyed away from Nyda and sipped his tea. My mom smiles slightly. "Nyda, you're right. Angel needs to take steps for healing. And that starts with feeling like yourself." My mom pulled me to my feet and took me to my old room.

....

"Samantha... What am I going to do?" Justin looked at his door half hoping for Angel to walk in. The other half was dreading that moment.

"MAKE HER FEEL WANTED!" Samantha growled and rolled her eyes. "She feels like a failure. And wants your love. Give her that. Hell just take her somewhere. I bet a quick drive through pick up and a movie at home would do the trick. You've built this wall of work between the two of you. Break it down."

"How can I ever have her forgive me?" He leaned back in her chair and covered his face. "I made her feel so alone..."

"Stop this. Mom would hate to see you like this." Samantha smiled thinking about the sweet support of her mother. "Take her to the opera. Or you could play for her. Mom always loved when you played for her." Samantha smiled picking at her fingers. "Just spend time with her. If you don't I'm going to beat the ever lovi-"

"Mr. Heart," Julie walked in. "Master was wanting to know if you plan to make it to the meeting..."

"Shit..." Justin growled. "Tell him I'm on my way." He smiled at Samantha. "I'll talk to you later tonight."

Julie stood back as they walked out. She watched as Samantha walked away. She looked her up and down. She had never seen her before. She wondered if he was replacing Angel with this intimidating girl.
