I began to walk back to school,  and so many thoughts ran through my head.

It was only when the bell ring did I realize I was back at school. I adjusted my backpack straps before walking into the school building.

-----

After the school day was over, I waited at the front of the school building for Angelina, who said to meet her here so we could head to the library together.

I had my earbuds on full blast while I leaned against the brick wall, hoping the music would help drown out the thoughts about the events of today.

But suddenly, I felt a pull on my right arm, causing me to jump a little by surprise. I looked over to see Angelina there, smiling at me," Hi!" She cheered,"Oh! What are you listening to?"

I sighed, ripping my earbuds out of my ears and stuffing them into my pocket," Ready to go?" I questioned, adjusting my backpack before taking a few steps forward.

" Yup!' she replied, rushing to the right side of me," So what library should we go to?"

I shrugged," Don't know, any I guess." I answered, not glancing at her we walked.

" Then we'll go to AppleBrook!" She commented, her face brightening up with glee. I rolled my eyes a bit ' She always so happy, I bet she has a perfect life...' I thought.

-----

Once we got to the library, Angelina rushed in, running and pointing at everything like a kid in a candy store," You must really like books..." I commented, looking around at the huge place.

" Yup! My..." She trailed off, as if recalling a bad memory.

" Your what?" I asked, looking at her with confusion. Her face had dropped into a small frown, but she quickly shook it off once she noticed me starring.

"N-Nothing, it was nothing." She replied, waving her hand in dismissal," Come on, lets go find a topic!"

I nodded, following the cheerful girl around the library, carrying books that she thought was a good topic.

Finally, we stopped at a small oak table at the corner of the library with a pile of books," Do you really think we need this many books? I mean, we're only trying to find one topic." I commented, examining the pile.

" Yes! We don't know what will be a good topic for our project." Angelina replied, sitting down at one of the seats at the table.

I sat down across from her, opening up one of the books which read Greek Myth and Legend while Angelina read a book called Indian Legend and Myth.

-----

It had been an hour, and I had nothing to show for it," Ugh...I found nothing..." I stated, throwing my head back as I sighed.

" But I found something!" Angelina said cheerfully, turning her book around to face me.

" The Skadegamutc? What's that?" I questioned tilting my head a bit in confusion.

" It's some Native American legend about a witch that's born from a dead shaman's body who practiced black magic!" she replied cheerfully, looking back at the book in amazement," It is mostly called a ghost-witch."

" I didn't know you were into scary stuff like this." I commented, leaning back into my chair as I watched Angelina read her book with bright eyes.

" Well, who wouldn't like this stuff? It's so interesting! The myths and legends in history is what interest me." She said, nose deep in her book," My favorite are angels and demons. When I was little, I'd hope to sprout wings so I could fly away."

I felt a small smile form on my lips as I watched Angelina geek-out on her book, leaning my head against my hand. ' She's adorable...' I thought as I continued to gaze at her.

She noticed me starring and looked up from her book,"Hm? What is it? Do I something on my face!?" She questioned, rubbing her face in search for anything there.

I laughed," No, it's just...." I couldn't finish my sentence, realizing what I was about to say,"..it's nothing..."

She tilted her head in confusion, but shrugged it off and continued to read. ' What's happening to me..?' I thought, turning away from her for a moment while I thought.

" Hey Lucifer?" Angelina said, causing me to whip my head around," I..."

I gave a confused look," What?" I questioned, sitting upwards more.

"...Nothing..." She replied, looking off in the distance, but then looked back at me,"...so, how about we check out this book for now? And come back for more later?"

I nodded, standing up from my chair and swinging my backpack over my shoulder," Ready?" I asked as Angelina cheerfully nodded, holding her book close to her chest.

-----

After we checked out our book, we walked outside the library, the wind whisking by us as we stood at the front of the building. I turned to face Angelina, who was starring off towards the busy streets with a small smile," Well, I should head home now..." she commented, turning her head to face me," how about the same time tomorrow?"

I nodded, feeling a smile tug on my lips," Sure." I replied as Angelina's face lit with joy.

" Alright! Then I'll see you tomorrow!" She cheered, embracing me in a small hug, the smell of cherries and vanilla fillings my nose. For a moment, I had no idea what to do, but I slowly eased into it, placing my right arm over her back.

" See tomorrow..." I said as she released me from our hug.

   " Goodbye!"

   " Bye."

And with that, we parted ways. I began to rub my chest as I walked back to my apartment building ' This feeling... I always feel this around her, why...?' I thought as I walked through the empty streets of Los Angeles.
