Make Amends

Chapter 3- END

"Got em'!" Miku exclaimed happily. She walked over to Kaito and sat down, with the plate in her lap. Kaito excitedly grabbed a cookie, and took a bite. A warm smile came to his face, and Miku smiled as well.
He hungrily finished the cookie. "Miku, these are great!" He said happily. "Thanks!" Miku blushed. She took a cookie and took a small bit, trying her best not to scrunch up her face.
Miku didn't care for this type of cookie. But she knew that Kaito liked them, so she baked them.
She of course let Kaito finish the rest of the cookies.
After the movie was over, it was time to for Miku to leave. She got up shyly. "So, it's time to leave, for me I mean." She check the time on her phone. "It's- oh jeeze! It's 12:33!" She exclaimed in a panic. "I need to go! I have rehearsals tomorrow, I need to leave!" Miku said and hurried to the door.
"Wait!" Kaito said, and she could hear real concern in his voice. She grabbed the doorknob but turned around. "Can you come over for Christmas?" He asked. "What? That was sudden." Miku said. "I-uh..." he blushed. "But I don't see why not." She smiled lightly.
She then hurried outside and got in the car.
"See you on Christmas!"
