Kellin's POV

after about thirty minutes of sitting in silence, long after the notebook had burned to ash, i spoke up.

"we should probably get home." i told him.

"yeah..." Vic said with a sigh. i knew he didn't want to leave but it was time.

he was in no shape to drive so i took the keys and hopped into the drivers seat. we drove in silence with neither of us saying a word. finally we arrived home.

"thanks Kells." said Vic. i blushed again at the nick name and turned to look at him.

his eyes where such a beautiful chocolate brown that it was like i could dive into them. his hair fell just right on his shoulders and was parted on the side as usual.

"any time." i said awkwardly.

he smiled at me and it was a genuine smile, not something that he was faking like usual.

"fuck it!" he said before grabbing my head and pulling me into a kiss.

this wasn't a lustful kiss though, it was one that showed that he truly was grateful to have me, that showed he cared about me. as i kissed back i could feel his soft lips on mine, and the taste of peppermint on his breath was almost intoxicating. when we finally did pull away i felt my face get even redder as he smirked at me. i noticed he had a light blush as well.

"so what now?" i asked, breaking the silence.

"this weekend?" he asked.

"what about it?" i asked, confused.

he chuckled lightly at my ignorance.

"i'll take you on a date this weekend." he said sweetly.

"r-really?" i stuttered, i hadn't been on a real date since Jack, and even then it was just the back of his truck with some pillows and a lantern.

"if it's okay with you..." he said looking away, trying to hide a blush.

i smiled to myself before leaning in and kissing him on the cheek.

"i'd love to go on a date with you." i said after i pulled away.

i swear that he grinned from ear to ear, with his cheeks turning a light red.

"yay... we should probably head inside." he said as he got out and ran to my side of the car and opened the door for me. it sounds cheesy but I've always wanted someone to do that for me. i blushed even deeper before climbing out and thanking him.

we walked inside together and went upstairs. Vic walked e to my room and it was a bit awkward to say goodbye.

"um, you can stay... if you want." i said hoping he would stay.

"sure, you can show me all your jewelry." he said.

i lit up, i love showing off all that I've made. i had made a few really intriquite pieces recently and wanted someone to see them.

one hour later

Vic and i where sitting on my bed and just joking around, listening to music. as we sat there listening to Blink-182 he reached over and gently wrapped his fingers in mine. i ran my finger over his palm and felt how callused his hands where, but there was also some comfort in that. i fell back against the bed and looked up at Vic.

"your cute." he mumbled with a soft smile.

"so are you." i told him with a yawn.

"you should get some rest." he told me.

i shook my head no, as i fought to keep my eyes open.

"why not?"

"because then you'll leave." i told him with a pout.

then he unexpectedly laid down next to me.

"what if i promise to stay here?" he asked.

"then i'd sleep." i told him, as i cuddled up with my head on his chest.

"then i'll stay here. night Kells."

"night Viccy." i said in return, before closing my eyes and falling asleep.
