Summer Visit

I know what your thinking. They will flip out. Make that my dad who is going to flip out. Along with my Uncle Val. Ugh, I'm so afraid to go home this summer. Okay, I am thrilled to see my family again. As for bringing home a present. Yeah, I'm dead. See I have been dating High School musical's Zac Efron. We met eachother on the audition day. I was trying out for the Gabriela character. Apparently, I didn't get the part and Vanessa Hudgens was going to work with him. Fantastic. Of course Zac was bummed that I didn't get the role and asked for my number. I gave it to him and after that he had called. We started dating for a good two and half years. Then one faithful day he proposed to me. And I said yes. What kind of celeb takes interest in a normal girl like me? Wait, take that back I'm the daughter of famous actor Robert Downey Jr. Also, the adopted niece of Val Kilmer. I'm so lucky.

I had just finished my final exam and was heading back to dorm to pack. I finally graduated college. A knock came at the door and rushed over to answer it. It was Zac. He had his hair cut and spiked up nicely. He smiled at me and I melted. I've always loved his smile. "Hey, I was wondering when you were planning on showing up." I said giving him a kiss on the lips. "I missed you. Guess what?" he replied. "What?" "I have the entire summer off. So, pick a place to go just the two of us." Did I mention that he doesn't know about my plan for him to meet my parents? "Uh, I actually have a place picked out. But, you might want to sit down for this." He goes to sit down on my bed. I was freaking out inside. "I'm all ears." he said. I took in a deep and exhaled. "I want to go to Los Angeles." I blurted out. "Babe, we've been there already. Why this summer?" "We're in engaged and I think it about time that you met my parents." "I thought they knew about us?" "I've never told them about you." "What?! I've told my parents about you." "I know but with me it's more complicated." "Why is your an ex-convict?" "No. Zac what is my last name?" "Downey." "And who is a famous actor with that last name?" He cupped his hand over his mouth. "Robert Downey jr, is your dad?!" he asked. "Yep." "Oh my God!" "Don't freak out so much. My dad he's a sweetheart and understanding." "No...you're daddy's little girl and he is going to kill me. Trust me I know he will." "No he won't. I just know he will love you." "You say that know. Once he and I are alone he's gonna whisper weird and crazy ways of how he's going to kill me. I bet you he can make my death look like an accident." "You're over-reacting about this whole situation." "Am I?" "Yes, please sit down." He sat back down and rested his head on my shoulder. "Babe, I love you. You knew this day was going to happen. My family means the world to me. I can't get married without them. Now, will you come meet my parents?" He looked up at me and replied, "Fine. I just can't get over the fact you didn't tell them about us." "I know and I'm sorry about that." "I forgive you. I love you Angela. No matter what your dad throws at me I promise to not fail." I smiled at him running my hand through his hair. I kissed his forhead and laid my head on his. This is nice and bad at the same time. The only thing I fear is my dad.

Morgan was cleaning up the house. She was in Angela's room fixing up the bed. Robert walked past the room but, walked back leaning against the frame of the doorway. He chuckled to himself as he watched Morgan. She slowly looked up at him and smiled. "What?" she asked. "Nothing. Watching you make a bed up is kinda sexy." he replied giving her a smirk. She let out a laugh and walked past him. "You're so weird." He wrapped his arms around her swinging her around. She turned around and gazed into his eyes. Being married to Robert for the past twenty-two years she still felt that spark. He still knew how to take her breath away. She pressed her lips against his. They kiss grew intense as Robert pulled Morgan closer to him. "Eww get a room!" blurted Alex who was now 9 years old. He took a huge bite of his sandwhich as he went into his room. They busted out laughing at him. "Love you too, son!" shouted Robert.
