Zac searched the wood for Robert. He really didn't want to apologize. Angela's father has been screwing with him since they've met. It was clear that Robert was secretly trying to break the engagement. He then sees him up in one of the big oak trees. Zac walks up to the tree leaning against it. "Look, I'm sorry for the stuff I said earlier. I wish you would just tell me not to marry your daughter." said Zac. Robert scoffed and shook his head. "I'm not going to tell you that. My daughter loves you and I know you love her. I'm suprise your putting up with me." "Then why are you doing this?" "I can't tell you." "Why not?! I think I deserve to know what I'm getting myself into." "One day you'll understand." "I don't get you. I'm trying my hardest to understand you. It's just when I'm around you I hate and like you at the same time." Robert chuckled to himself and climbed down the tree. He walked over to him grinning at Zac. "I'm sorry if you feel that way. It's only natural." Zac let out a sigh and smiled up at him. "I really am sorry for the crap I said." he said. "How's about you and I take a hike tomorrow? That way we can talk." "Okay." They both exchanged a smile and headed back to camp.

"I can't believe he would say such hateful things. I'm disappointed." said Morgan angerly. Uncle Val had told us all that was said. I was beyond angry with Zac. Even if he's lucky to get a forgiviness from my dad I'm not going to forgive him that easily. "He doesn't know anything to be judging. He's lost my respect." continued my mom. "Me too. I wanted to break his neck." I seen my dad and Zac come back. I got up and ran into my dad's arms. He held me close giving me a kiss on the forehead. "I love you so much. Your the greatest dad in the whole wide world." I glared over at Zac and buried my face against my dad's chest. "I love you my beautiful angel. Don't be so upset." said my dad. "You didn't deserve what was said to you. My fianceé is a complete jerk." I shouted. "Honey, it's okay. I forgave him. Tomorrow he and I are going for a hike. Gives us a chance to talk and get to know eachother." "Can we talk alone?" "Sure." I needed to get away from Zac.

I was walking beside my dad in the wood. "I know we haven't talked in quite some time. I have just been busy during college." I said. "It's okay honey. You graduated from college, have two promising careers, and engaged. I wish you had waited to up and get married." replied my dad. "I know but, when your in love you just go for it." "I agree. Zac seems to be an okay guy. Just has a few rough edges. Like his temper." "Yes, majorly. Maybe because you bring it out of him." "Very funny, I think he's not use to being tested." "Wait a minute! You've been testing him behind my back." "You think I'm just going to up and give a free blessing. No he has to earn it." "So, this entire trip is your idea of a test." "Yes." I gave him a tight hug. "You're the greatest dad ever." He pulled away smiling at me. "Promise me you won't tell Zac." he said. "I promise. Besides I'm still mad at him for crap he did earlier." "Good. I like that your mad at him it pleases me." He sound so menacing and all I could do was laugh. I'm glad that he's finally told me his secret. My dad really cares and I know Zac will pass. Hopefully.
