I had just shoved the last box into the trunk of my SUV. Finally, I'm done. I hear my engine roar as I look to see Zac sitting at the wheel. I smiled at him as I closed the trunk door. I jumped into the drivers seat and gave him a playful glare. "Some help you were." I said. "Hey, I'm helping you get to California. Besides, you didn't have that much." he replied grinning. I rolled my eyes and looked out the window. Zac slowly pulled out of the parking lot then burned out onto the road. I smacked his arm and he busted out laughing. "I don't need a ticket you dork! Slow down!" I shouted laughing along with him. "Watched this. Grab the wheel." he said. "Why?" "Just do it." I took the wheel. I look to see a group of students on the sidewalk. He was hanging out of the window flapping his arms around. "MY BABY GRADUATED!! WOOOHOO!!!" He sat back down taking the wheel again. I couldn't stop laughing. "Oh my God, you are so crazy." "Crazy in love." I kissed his cheek and smiled. "I love you, too."
"Angela are you flying home or driving?" asked Morgan. "I'm driving." replied Angela. "Honey, please take a plane. It's a really long trip." "I'm okay mom. I should be there real soon." "Alright then. Be safe. I love you." "I love you too. Tell dad I said, 'Hi' bye." Morgan looked over at Robert who seem curious is to why Angela is driving home. "I can't believe she is driving all the way home. Alone at that." said Robert shaking his head. "I know. It worries me." Morgan laid against him. "I can't wait 'til she gets here. I've missed her so much." "Me too. She's grown up so beautifully. Graduated College, has promising career, and single." "She better be." "What are you going to do if she finds her first love?" "Polish my gun rack." Morgan busted out laughing and Robert soon joined her. "Robert, she is a beautiful girl. Some one is bound to lay eyes on her." "Yeah, I know. I just want a guy who will love and respect her. A guy that I actually will grow to like." "Aww, you're such a loving father." Robert blushed and kissed her cheek.
I'm so tired. It's been almost two days and we are just about to make it into Los Angeles. It was early in the morning and we had just pulled up into my parents driveway. I was so nervous. My stomach was killing me from the fear. I looked over at Zac as he took my hand. "Wait here." I said. I got out of the car and fixed my hair a little. I slowly walked up the sidewalk toward the door. My heart was pounding hard against my chest. I opened the door slowly and stepped inside. I could smell the bacon aroma. I see my brother Alex playing a video game on the couch. He then sees me and chunks the control on floor. "ANGIE'S HOME!" he shouted with glee as he jumped into my arms. "Hey bubba. How are you?" I asked. "I'm good. I was just about to beat your high score but, that can wait." I see my mom walk over and threw her arms around my neck. "My baby. It's so good to see you." she greeted. "Good to see you too mom." "How was your trip? You must be tired. Come with me to the kitchen." "Mom, chill. I'm fine I actually need to talk to you and..." I stopped in mid-sentence when I seen my dad comming down the stairs. I began to tear up as he ran up to me. He picked me up with his strong arms swing me around. I hugged him back tightly. I missed him more than anything. "I've missed you so much princess." he whispered in my ear. I kissed his cheek as he put me down. "I've missed you more, dad." He took my hands into his as his thumbs ran across my fingers. He lifts my left hand up and sees my diamond engagement ring on my finger. Oh crap! He looked at me funny and studied my facial expressions. Did I mention that my dad wasn't born yesterday? "Angela, is this what I think it is?" he asked. "It depends...what are you thinking?" I replied shakingly. "My answer is going both way. Now you tell me which one am I right about?" I bit my lip and looked away. I pulled out my phone and text Zac to come inside. He knocked on the door and I went to answer it. I held onto his arm and walked up to my parents. "Mom, Dad, and Alex. I want you to meet Zac Efron. My fianceé." I introuduced.
