My eyes were fluttering as the bright sunlight greeted them. I turned onto my back in the bed and gripped the sheets beneath me before sighing. As I looked around, I realized- this isn't my room.
"Oh good, you aren't dead.", I know that voice....Cadence?
Quickly shooting up I looked at him with wide eyes, "H-how did I get here? Did I sleep walk? Wait, I don't even know where you live. I'm so sorry, i'm so confused. How did this happen?", my voice was frantic as I tried to find a solution to the situation.
He chuckled deeply, "I brought you here, Parker.", I cocked my head at him in question, "Some guy spiked your drink to take advantage of you. I had found you both in a bedroom with your screaming. You passed out after I hit him."
My mouth gaped open. I don't remember any of this, who was that guy? I went to a party? Wait, Cadence saved me?, "Cade, I can't thank you enough. I don't even remember anything!"
His eyes held amusement, "Cade? I didn't know we were already on the nickname level. Normally that takes a few weeks at least."
My cheeks became covered with a blush and my head dropped down. Well this is pretty embarrassing. Soon after that confrontment he spoke again, "I'm kidding, you can call me Cade. But, only you."
This made my heart swell up. I'm sure it didn't mean much but my mind likes to blow these kind of words out of proportion.
I cleared my throat, "Well, thank you. I appreciate you taking me and keeping me safe. Even though I don't even know me and I slept in your bed.", he laughed at that.
"My pleasure. I'll walk you down the stairs."
Together we made our way to the front door, it turns out I just lived down the street from him. Thankfully, since Analise abandoned me and she was my ride to that party.
Smiling at him I waved goodbye and started my way down the street and towards my lovely home sweet home.
School tomorrow will be quite interesting, I'm sure.
