after deleting evidence of her phone call on jimin's call log, jungkook joined taehyung at the bathroom door. "chim!" the girls chimed outside of the door, begging the girl to come out.
"go away," jimin piped up, her voice slightly muffled. "we won't go away until you come out of there," taehyung said matter-of-factly and sat down right outside of the door. "yeah! what she said!" jungkook agreed loudly, plopping down beside taehyung.
inside the bathroom, jimin was sat on the floor, leaned against the door with her knees pulled to her chest. her arms were folded and sat atop her knees. she rested her forehead on her arms as she cried.
she hated seeming so weak and fragile, so she tried to put up a mean and tough facade. it didn't always work out, as her emotions would always take control and she would end up a sobbing mess – much like she was now.
it was times like these where she would wonder what her life would be like if she hadn't cut her hair and if she wore more skirts and dresses, and even if she stuffed her bra a little. would boys notice her then? would they think she was pretty? would they know she was a girl, then?
jimin placed her face in her hands, crying out the rest of the tears she had been holding in.
the two girls sat outside could hear the cries and it was slowly breaking both of their hearts, knowing she was in there alone during all of this.
taehyung and jungkook waited for a few minutes and they didn't hear a sound. they stood up when they heard a small click, hoping that it was jimin unlocking the door. their suspicion was confirmed when the door opened and jimin stepped out, her eyes puffy and irritated.
the two girls engulfed her in a hug, squeezing her tightly and cooing soothing words. jimin wrapped an arm around both of them, returning the embrace. she couldn't help but faintly smile at the kind words they were whispering to her.
when they eventually pulled away, jimin smiled at both of them. "thank you so much, both of you. i don't know what i would do without you."
