Hell hounds and secrets

Hermione POV

I woke up this morning and went to breakfast. There was me the ESs and a few other people, just then there was a scream outside. We all rushed to help. It was some type of giant dog, the ESs looked bored. We shot spells at it but they just bounced off. "Stop shooting spells at it for hades sake, it's just making it worse." Percy yelled.

He got out a pen and charged at the dog I thought he was going to die but when he made contact with the beast it disintegrated.

I was impressed Percy put that pen thing up and sat down mumbling something about hounds.

"Nico! Get out here!" he screamed.

Nico walked out to him, "I thought your dad had these things under control." Percy said in a frustrated tone.

"Oh he does and so do I." he said while slowly walking away.

"So you could have stopped it the entire time but decided not to?!"

"No I set it on you and the wizards." Nico said grinning.

"Oh I'm going to get you for that I could have died!" with that Percy tackled Nico and held up the pen and said

"Don't make me use this Nico."

"Just hop off me then" Nico replied. Just then another giant dog came out and attacked Percy. It slashed at his chest which got a gash as well as his calf.

"Annabeth a little help here." Nico said. Annabeth came over and started dragging Percy to the lake.

Nico grabbed a completely black sword out of nowhere and killed the beast. Then went on helping Annabeth drag his body to the water. They dumped Percy in and didn't go get him he just sunk.

They just killed Percy, no-one could hold their breath that long.

After a minute Percy popped up and started to walk towards the shore. AND HE WAS COMPLETELY DRY!?!  Annabeth made a gesture which made him look down at his clothes. Percy's clothes got immediately wet as well as his hair and skin.

Also not to be forgotten he was completely fine no more gashes! I had some major questions but I needed to see something more before I could go asking. And Nico probably transfigured a stick to a sword to kill the big dog. I asked them what it was though, they called it a "hell hound". I was confused but did not press any more questions.

The next morning at breakfast we got a lot of mail, after an owl had delivered its package it went and attacked Percy. And every time Annabeth shooed them away

"Tell her to stop already" he begged her

"Nope, you deserved it you scared me you almost died yesterday. Here have some more." Annabeth said while giving percy a gold coloured block of something. He took it and ate it.

"Thanks" he said after it was stuffed in his mouth.

Also I could have sworn I saw Leo catch on fire and not get burnt later today. I also saw Jason FLY?!? Without a wand across the Gryffindor common room. I had to consult them sometime but first I need to write this down and look in the library. I got out a notepad and quill and scratched out some notes on them.

Percy: Water healed him

Annabeth: Owls listened to her and is super smart.

Leo: Can catch on fire and not get burnt without spell

Jason: Can fly

Piper: Mind control

Will: Radiate a little light
