In a small village, there lived an assassin named Ciel. One day, he encountered a small girl. He didn't know who she was, or where she came from. She had no memory of who she was. She could only remember part of her name, Lu.
Ciel took care of her, despite being aware that she was a demon. Besides, he had a weak spot for cute things. It was peaceful... But that would only last so long.... They were attacked by a demon named Karis. It was apparent that she was after Lu, but why?
Ciel fought against them, doing his best to make sure that no one would harm Lu. Suddenly there was a flash of light... Aimed for Lu. Lu braced herself for impact, shutting her eyes tightly, but, it never came.
She opened her eyes, only to find that the light had gone through the one person who had been kind to her and protected her, Ciel. The light caused a fatal wound to Ciel, one that would never heal. Ever.
Karis laughed and raised the scythe that she had. Ciel opened his eyes and reached for the moon. The last thing he heard was Lu's scream as the scythe came crashing down on Ciel. Lu cried, finally starting to remember who she was. She was Luciela R Sourcream, the rightful demon monarch. She slowly stood up to face Karis.
"You killed my only friend in this world... Now... You'll pay!!!" She screamed, but before she could move from her spot, she was attacked from behind by several other demons.... No one in the village survived that day and Karis took over the demon world, once and for all.
