"Are you sure you don't want to come sweetie?" Mom asked me as she waited by the door along with Dad.

I shook my hand no. "Sorry Mom, maybe next time I'll join you guys."

"Please, the only reason why you're staying home is because you're just gonna stalk seth," Emily said smirking. Sometimes I wonder just how she becomes the preferred daughter.

"Lex, I still don't get why out of every single boy out there you choose Seth, someone who breaks your heart repeatedly and doesn't even know."

"Yeah Lex and for the first time I agree with this asshole."

I beamed and turned towards the direction of the mysterious voices. Right there standing by the grand staircase are my two dorkable older brothers. Derrick White, my biological brother and the one responsible for the first comment, had his chocolately brown hair tussled. It was evident that he spent most of his time fixing his hair to make it look like that sexy out of bed hair. He picked up a pair of faded jeans and a red checkered shirt underneath a black hoodie.

Sanding right beside him was my foster and favorite brother, Cameron Stone. Mom and Dad adopted Cameron when he was 16 but he didn't want to change his last name in remembrance of his family before they died in a car accident. And since his parents were such good friends and business partners with mine, Dad got total and complete control of their company and inherit it when Cam is of age, which is why their going to some Christmas get together. His ash blonde hair was left combed upwards leaving some spikes up. However unlike the rest of the family, who were all casually dressed, Cam was dressed in an expensive tux.

I could see Emily drooling beside me as she watched our brothers stroll into the doorway. Emily has always loved Cameron and was ecstatic when she found out that they weren't related. And just like me, she soon started to have an obsession with him. It was gross, but hey! This is what happens when love strikes your life. It turns you into a pathetic fool.

Thankfully, if those two do manage to get together, then no taboo would be broken.

I've read a few stories involving Emily's love story. The sister falls madly in love with her foster brother, however the brother remains cold to her and never returns her feelings. Years pass later on and soon the sister moves on and loves someone else. The brother, on the other hand, gets extremely jealous and possessive. He seems oblivious to the fact that he's fallen in love. In the end it results to a triangle love story and soon the sister discovers her feelings for him and voila! They get a happy ending.
