Harry's P.O.V.

When I layed the unconscious girl down, the blonde looked at me, with sad eyes. I could read what she was thinking through her eyes. It was as if she was saying 'Are you gonna help her or not?' I realized then that she must've known the girl on our couch. I asked Niall to try and calm down the other girl, while I went to get some medicine for the both of them and a wet dish towel to put on the brunette girl's forehead. When I had all the supplies, I went downstairs to see the blonde girl quietly sobbing in Niall's shoulder. He looks at me with watery eyes. The girl must have told him something about her and the other girl.

"Are you tired?" I ask the girl. She nods her head slowly. I sigh, she seems so sad. I'm pretty sure she won't want to leave the other girl's side.

"Will you please come over here?" I ask her, beckoning her over. She walks over hesitantly, and I see tears are still coming from her eyes. Either she is still crying about the girl, or she is crying over something she told Niall.

"Did you tell Niall something?" I ask, hoping she will tell me too. She nods and leads me over to the couch.

She looks like she is about to crumble into a million pieces.

She looks at the girl, then back to me. "My name is Anna. The girl on the couch is my friend, Abbey. We've been friends for as long as I can remember. One day, we were taken from our homes and families in America. We were taken to a building. They wouldn't tell us what it was or why we were there. All we were told was that we were going to be put up for sale," Anna says, starting to cry a little more. I can't help but hold her in my arms. When I let go, she goes and sits down next to Niall.

"We were there for two years. We both got bought by a woman named Ashlynn. She bought us for her two sons, Robert and Peter. They raped us, they made us do their chores, and they called us despicable things. Robert and Peter told us that we had to obey their rules if we wanted to live. Abbey and I both knew that they weren't kidding. One of the rules was that we couldn't speak. If we broke any of the rules we would be punished," She stated, more tears slipping down her beautiful face.

"You don't have to continue if you don't want to," Niall tells her. She shakes her head, insisting she must finish telling me.

"How would they punish you?" I couldn't stop myself from asking.

"Sometimes, they would just hit or slap us. If they had a somewhat bad day we would get kicked in the stomach or locked in a closet, but on really bad days, they would cut us," Anna says, pulling off Niall's jacket. She pushed her sleeves up and showed me her wrists. I gasp at the sight. There are about fifteen scars on each arm. She then went and pulled up Abbey's. Abbey had far more scars than Anna, though.

"A few days ago, I had managed to run away from the evil people. Abbey didn't come out fast enough, so she was stuck there. The moment I realized she hadn't made it out, I realized Robert was gonna start hurting her, too. That's why she has more cuts than I do," She says, practically reading my mind.

"That's really all there is to tell," Anna tells me. She gets up to go to the bathroom to try to stop herself from crying. I wondered what happened after she had left, and was about to ask her, when I realized she wouldn't know. I had to wait until Abbey woke up. It seemed like there was something she was hiding, but I just let it slide for now.
