Niall's P.O.V.

I wake up in the middle of the night to a loud noise coming from the living room. A loud hiss comes immediately after. I look in my arms, seeing that Anna is still there. I sigh, but then Harry barges into my room, a sleeping Abbey in his arms. He lays her down on my bed gently.

"We need to go see what's going on," he says. I nod in agreement, standing up. We hear another hiss on the stairs, followed by a loud scream. The scream woke Anna and Abbey up.

We motion them toward us, and they slowly come. We walk out of our room and into the hallway. There are white walls and crimson curtains over the windows. On the floor, a guy that looks to be 18, is laying down. I crouch to see what is wrong with him, and I see scratch marks all over his face and body. I realize he's been knocked out.

We walk into the living room, expecting to see a murderer, but all we see is Jack. Abbey makes an "oh" sound. I turn around, and so does everyone else. We question her.

"Someone was robbing us. They woke Jack up. Jack, being the kitten he is, got the initial instinct to fight back. The person was the one screaming. And Jack was the one hissing. He's also the reason for all the scratch marks on the guy's face," Abbey explains. She looks to Jack for confirmation. He nods.
