SUMMER TIME

All things eventually die,
It's unaboidable,
But as long as you remember it,
It will live on in your heart forever

Summer is the best time of the year. No school, no homework , no exams , no tension at all....
" Natsumi , have you packed your bag yet" mom asked. "Yeah almost done " i said. My name is Natsumi Harune and I am off to my grandpa's house. "Call me when you reach there" mom ordered. "Aye mom" I exclaimed." Ok then, take care". Mom said " will, Bye bye" saying that I bid mom bye.Near grandpa's home there is a forest which is very special for me. There I met a very slecial person...

When I was 10 years old. I got lost in the Yokai forest near my grandpa's home. I started crying. "Don't cry!" I heard someone say when I looked up I saw a young boy wearing a mask with white hair. I was so happy. I ran up to him to hug him but he moved away. As a child ,I felt he was playing with me. So I ran after him each time I was abut to hug him he would move away. This went on and on for 10-15 minutes but at last he got fed up and he hit me hard on my head with a stick. "Oouch!" I exclaimed as I fell down. "I am a spirit humans can't touch me and if they do i will disappear forever. " he explained.

He then held a stick at one and I held it at the other. We walked through the forest which seemed like forever. Then we stopped at a shrine. "I can't go out of Yokai forest. I can't come with you further..." he said. " but why? if I want to play with you then?" I said. " you will always find me here at the shrine.. waiting for you." He exclaimed with smile. "What's your name" I asked. "Natsu.. and yours ?" He said " Natsumi " saying that i bid him bye. I went home to find grandpa angry.
The next day I went to shrine to meet Natsu. I saw him waiting for me.. we played different games. Time went by and it was already the end of summer vacation. "Will you come next summer vacation?" Natsu asked. "Yes, I surely will" I  promised. Every year I would go to my grandpa's home to visit Natsu but I always wondered that how he really looked under the mask. Then one day when he was asleep I slowly took his mask off. He was so....cute. my heart started beating very fast... that time i realised that I was in love with him.
Time passed I grew up but Natsu remained the same.
                                                             I was in high school when Natsu asked me if I could attend the yokai festival with him. I was so.... happy.
                                                          The festival was so unique.  There was different types of sprits. I saw so many wierd things;flying feet, talking umbrella, etc etc.
                                                    When we were on our way to back to the shrine. He took off his mask and covered my face with it and he kissed me. I wished that moment would last forever. But soon we had to part. "I love you...ever since I saw you" he said. "I love you too" I said.
Then we walked back to the shrine. On our way back to the shrine. Some boys were playing. Suddenly a boy was about to fall off the bridge Natsu helped him. But, he wasn't a spirit but a human. At his contact Natsu began to shine.
"What's happening? "
"Natsumi you always wanted to touch me, didn't you?"
"Yes, I did....."
"Touch me as much as you want before I disappear...."
I ran to him and hugged him with all my might but HE disappeared leaving only a mask as his memory.
Now every year when I go to my grandpa's house I sit near shrine waiting for him...It is said that things end...but memories remains forever... so I wait for him like he waiting for me... and maybe one day some miracle will happen and i will meet him again......
