Chapter 15

LESTER'S POV

I let out a shaky breath and jog to my car. I need to get my mind off things. Once again, I unconsciously drive to the bar. I swear if she's he-

"Hey Lester!" I bet you cans guess who just said that. My hands form fists as I stride into the bar, ignoring Arianna.

I don't know why but I'm mad at her. It's not her fault she doesn't feel the same way as I do her but... It's just aggravating.

. . . . .

Eleven beers later I'm talking to some lady with a mustache. Or maybe it's a guy? I don't know nor care. She/he is good company.

"Arianna!" I call in a sing song voice across the bar. I tip back my glass to sip the remains of my beverage, then order another.

"Yeah?" She stands at the side if my table in which is located in the back of the building.

"I've meaning to ask you something... Do you like me?"

ARIANNA'S POV

"Do you like me?" Lester asks. Do I? Of course I do! I've been basically obsessing over him since sixth grade! Should I tell him? Yes, it would be embarrassing but he's under the influence of alcohol so he won't remember in the morning... Right?

"Yeah.." I reply cautiously. His face brightens and he grins, revealing his dimples.

"Really?"

"Yep." I sigh.

His face suddenly pales as he mutters "I think... I think I'm gonna..." He runs into the Hallway behind us which I'm guessing leads to the bathroom. I check my watch: 6:49 PM. Already? Huh.

Lester stumbles out if the hallway.

"You okay there?"

"I'm fine.."

"You sure?"

"Yeah."

"You know, my parents are out of town.."

He tilts his head to the side giving me the 'I dunno what the heck you talkin' 'bout guuurl' look.

"Um.. Wanna uh... Come over? To my place?" I ask shyly.

"Sure." He smiles.

This is gonna be one heck of a night.

Sadly, this book only has a few more chapters before I start the sequel about after graduation.

Now that winter break is over, I'll probably be updating every other day or something like that.

I just got two dogs so they take up lots of time as well as school and chores ect.

OH AND FRIENDS FROM SCHOOL!!!

Arianna is not going to get shot! It was a joke! I started writing 'Arianna's POV' on a piece of paper and me and Daniel started fighting so I wrote 'Daniel's POV: I get shot and die.' on the page. Somehow word got around about it and I just wanted to clear things up.

Today we learned "Ordinary Miracle" from Charlotte's Web in chorus and it's beautiful omg! I really like the soprano part!
