Surprise!

Chapter 9: Jason's POV

So Mitch and Alyssa went god knows where, and now i was alone with Grace, it was finally time to make this happen, but i was so nervous, i really didnt want to screw this up. But i had an idea of how i wanted to ask her out. Earlier she was talking about how she loved beaches.

"Hey Gracie." i said before i could start to doubt myself.

"Yea Jase?" she said

"I would really like to know more about you, you wanna go walking at the beach? I remember you saying you loved beaches."

"Yea! That sounds fun!" she exclaimed.

"Lets go!" i went and grabbed my car keys and we headed out.

When we got to the beach, i got out of the car, kind of awkwardly sat there for a minute, then thought to myself "OH GOD! i should probally go open the door for her! c'mon Jason get with it buddy!" I ran around the side of the car and opened passenger side door.

"Aw, thanks! Your so nice!"

So we went walking along and she was telling me stuff about herself, then she turned to me and said

"How about you? Well obviously i know you play video games and make music...that is awesome by the way! But what else?" She asked

"Hmmmm... Well..... I know i do electro music, but i also...." Right then she cut me off

"Don't tell me....you can sing?" She said excitedly

"Sorry....no, i definitely CANNOT SING! Unless you want to go deaf. Haha, i can play the guitar."i said

"That's cool! I wanna learn how to play the guitar!"

"I can teach you how!"

"That would be awesome!"

Finally we got to the beach after walking on that sidewalk for a while. All of a sudden i look over and i see her taking her shoes off.

"What are you doing?" I said while i laughed.

"Well, it doesn't feel as awesome to run in the sand with your shoes ON now does it?" She said. Then just out of nowhere she took my arm and pulled me along with her running along the shore. Finally she stopped and we both started laughing.

"What was that for?!" I said jokingly

"I thought it would be fun. Hahaha!" She laughed back

"Not as fun as this will be!" I said and i picked her up and spun her around. She was laughing and screaming and when i stopped we were both standing in the water where only our feet were under.

"Its cold!" She squealed

"I cant tell, i have my SHOES ON! Haha!"

"Well your missing out! C'mon! Don't leave me alone here!"she said

"Fine!" I said and i reached down and took off my sneakers.

"Yay!" She yelled then kicked water at me and ran.

"Oh man! Now your gonna get it!" I yelled jokingly

She laughed and kept running. "Oh yea?! You gonna have to catch me first!"

So, is this why she wanted us to leave our phones in the car! Hahaha! It makes sense now! If it was in my pocket that would have been bad!

I ran after her and finally caught her, but when i did she took both my hands and fell on the ground taking me down with her. She was laying oh her back and i fell right on my elbows so i wouldn't completely squish her to death, haha! We were both laughing so hard.
