A strange and sad twist

 Chapter 9: Alyssa's POV

So finally i got to see Grace again, and we told eachother all about what had happened! We both started screaming and hugging eachother, just like all girls do when something exciting happens. Then later on me and Mitch went down into the city, because i sent i wanted to go "Celebrity Hunting" hahahaha!

"You know, i guess there is a really good chance of seeing someone famous around here!" he said

So we were walking along the sidewalk, holding ands, when we saw a girl crying! I walked over to her, tapped her on the shoulder, and asked "What's wrong? Are you ok?"

"NO!" she said "I tried to leave my boyfriend, and he's real abusive and he said if i left he would find me and kill me! I left and now im really afraid that he's gonna find me! I have no where to go!" She just barley got the words out through her sobbing.

"Aw, im so sorry. Is there anyway we could help you?" said Mitch and put his hand on her shoulder, just then a really scary looking man jumped out from the ally behind us, and took a gun out and shot it!!! At first i didnt think it hit anyone, but then i heard this deafening, awful, painful, scream from next to me...and it was Mitch.

"MITCH!" i screamed and fell down to my knees where he was laying.

"THATS WHAT YOU GET FOR GOING NEAR MY GIRL!" the man yelled "AND YOU SIERRA! I TOLD YOU NOT TO LEAVE! COME WITH ME!"

The girl completley ignored what he said "JOHN! WHY THE HELL DID YOU DO THAT!? HE WAS HELPING ME! THEY SAW ME OVER HERE CRYING BECAUSE OF YOU! HOW DARE YOU JUST GO AND SHOOT HIM LIKE THAT?! YOU COULD HAVE JUST KILLED HIM!" she screamed "GET OUT OF HERE YOU WORTHLESS BASTARD!" she cried.

Mean while, i had called an ambulence on my cell, and i was laying my head dow on Mitch, crying. I have never cried so hard in my entire life.

"PLEASE DONT LEAVE ME MITCH!" i cried out "at least not without saying goodbye! PLEASE!!!" The bullet looked like it went through his heart, oh god, that really wasnt good.

After what seemed like 5 million hours, the ambulence and the police arrived, the man had already gotten away, sierra couldnt hold him back any longer, he was too strong. They real crefully lifted up Mitch and put him on a stretcher and into the ambulence. They asked me if i wanted to come along, i said yes.

"Would you like me to come with you?" Sierra asked "I dont want you to have to go alone, and i wanna make sure hes ok."

"Sure, thank you" i replyed

We climbed into the ambulence and sat down. They were putting this mask thing on Mitch's face, and checking his heart rate.

"Im soooooo sorry this happened." Sierra said "No one should ever be hurt like that over nothing." she looked like was about to cry again.

"No, it wasnt your fault, dont cry" i said and we hugged eachother.

We both looked over at Mitch's pale, sleeping face.

"I really hope hes gonna be ok, but im not so sure" i said nervously

"Me too, im sure he'll pull through. Are you his girlfriend, or cousin, or sister or something?" she asked

"Im his girlfriend, actually, his girlfriend as of yesterday." i said sadly

"OMG! im so sorry! this was an awful way to start a relashionship!" she said and hugged me again.

"It is...." I said quietly and to myself.

*Time skip to the hospital*

We arrived at the hospital and me and sierra went inside as they rushed Mitch in. They told us to go sit in the waiting room. Oh god. This was gonna be a long, gruesome, wait.
