(10 Years Later)
It had been almost 8 years since Elsa and Anna's parents had been killed in a storm. Elsa was still learning to control her powers, she never liked to reveal them to her subjects even though she had found that love was the key, but it still didn't feel right. Elsa felt as if there was still something missing as to the change in her powers lately. But as a Queen of Arendelle she rarely had time to figure that out because of her royal duties as Queen always got in the way. Anna however had all the free time in the world, since she started dating Kristoff, Elsa would hardly see her sister anymore.
"Good Morning Elsa" Anna beamed cheerfully her sister who was sitting at the dining table eating breakfast.
"Oh good morning Anna sleep well?" Elsa breathed, shaking herself out of her trance.
"Yes I did, are you okay?" Anna asked worried.
"Oh I'm fine, just a bit tired is all. I have a lot to do today and not enough time to do it all" She insisted, giving her sister a half-hearted smile to reassure her.
"You should really take a day off Elsa, you'll get ill from the lack of sleep you're getting as well as the stress from it all. You should join Kristoff and me today, we're going on a ride through the woods with Sven" Anna declared.
Elsa laughed, "I wish, but I can't take a day off being Queen it's my duty and responsibility"
"Yeah yeah I know, well you should at least get some fresh air, it could do you good you know" Anna scolded. Before Elsa could respond the butler 'Kai' walked into the dining room.
"Excuse me your highness but Sir Kristoff is waiting for Miss Anna at the castle gates." Kai announced.
"He's here already?!" Anna blurted, stuffing the last mouthful of toast in her mouth before darting out the room. Elsa giggled slightly, before shaking her head as she saw her sister whip around the corners.
"Oh and here is your schedule for today your highness"
"Thank you Kai, but this will have to be postponed till later this evening" She declared.
"I'm sorry your highness but that can't be-" He started but did not finish.
"I am the Queen and I decide what I can and can't do and this morning I would like to check on my people so post-pone it till this evening" Elsa declared once again, but more forcefully this time.
"I-ur-um of course your majesty" He confirmed before hurrying out of the doors.
A few hours later Anna had already left with Kristoff, dressed and presentable this time. Elsa smiled waving at the both of them. Before Elsa knew it she decided to call her horse and made her way to the centre of Arendelle. Seeing her people again always made her so happy as she waved at families who passed by.
She came to a stop and climbed off her horses back before stroking his delicate mane and feeding him a juicy Apple, smiling brightly as she felt the fresh cool breeze touch her skin and fill her senses with freedom.
Little did she know that on one of the buildings nearby leaning against the chimney was a frost bitten boy staring at her with love in his eyes holding onto his wooden staff glittered with snowflakes that were starting to fall all around the small city of Arendelle.
Elsa felt the cold snowflake land on her cheek as she looked across and saw the snowy blanket encase the pavement. Elsa looked at her hands in worry, as she thought it was her who caused the sudden change in weather. The fear again seeping into her heart as she clenched her hands.
The boy staring at her saw this again and wondered why his tricks always made her seem lost and afraid. Did she not like the snow he thought to himself, he thought it might be time to find out before he carefully lowered himself to the ground.
"Excuse me Miss" a voice from behind her called. Elsa froze as she felt she had heard this voice before and slowly turned around before coming face to face with a handsome young man. He was around her age with platinum blonde hair like her own which was also covered in snowflakes falling from the sky.
Elsa had never seen him around here before, he was wearing a dark blue hoodie covered in ice crystals, and holding an oddly shaped piece of wood in his right hand.
"Hello, can I help you?" Elsa breathed, trying to stop herself from staring into his sapphire blue eyes.
Jack was doing the same and barely registered her speak before he snapped out of his own trance. "I was hoping, well wondering if you'd like to get a drink with me.." He rubbed the back of his neck.
"Oh I really shouldn't" Elsa sighed, even though she really wanted to "I should probably get back to the castle.."
"The castle?!" The boys eyes widened. "You're the Queen?"
"...Er yes. I'm Queen Elsa, but you can call me Elsa" she smiled sweetly.
"I'm very sorry I didn't know you were the Queen I'm sorry to bother you... Elsa I'll just leave now" He panicked, and started to walk away. Before a cold delicate hand landed on his shoulder.
He turned his head back towards Elsa, "I'd love to get a drink with you" she smiled.
Jack grinned with delight before realising he hasn't even introduced himself.
"I'm so sorry, I'm Jack. Jack Frost" He apologised before kissing the tips of her fingers.
Elsa's eyes fluttered as he felt the warmth of his lips against her cold hands. "Well it's nice to meet you Jack Frost"
Jack smiled once again at her. He had never seen a more beautiful girl in his whole life. Elsa blushed again as they both stopped at a small coffee shop nearby.
