SIX MONTHS LATER- INTERVIEW CHATTY MAN

"So Zayn and Liam." He said. "There's rumours going around that you two are... And you know, this being the place Louis and Harry announced their relationship.. We were wondering if you two were.. You know. A thing?" He said raising an eyebrow.

I blushed insanely and looked over and Zayn. We keep saying 'next interview we'll come out!' but than we always don't. The rest of the boys gave us cheeky smiles.

Zayn smiled and lightly shook his head.

"Nah." He said.

"Just best mates." I said.

And that's what we told everyone. "Just best mates." That was our assigned cover up until we were comfortable with coming out.

"Maybe the kiss was a little much." Zayn laughed looking up from his computer. He was referring to our accidental kiss on stage last night. I couldn't help it. it was truly an accident. He just looked so perfect...

"You loved it." I said sitting next to him and kissing his cheek.

"But now we have to come out. You know that right?" Zayn smiled.

"Yeah. I figured Radio One. It's special to us."I suggested. Our Radio One interview was tomorrow.

"Okay." Zayn smiled. "I'll call the publicist and you call Simon. They're going to love this one." He laughed.

"I love you." I said.

"I love you too." He said kissing me.

LIVE on RADIO ONE ~ Scott Mills

"So, Liam and Zayn." Scott started.

"Oh boy." Zayn laughed, grabbing my hand under the table. My heart started racing. Here we go.

"Common boys. You've been putting off these rumors for months. We saw you two kiss at the concert two nights ago. Set it straight right here and now. Are you two dating."

"Well..." I started.

"Wait." Zayn. He looked at me confused. This wasn't part of our plan... I was going to say we were in fact dating. Why was Zayn stopping me?

"You see," Zayn started, "We've been through a lot, with the whole thing with me almost dying. And it revealed a lot of truths about us." Zayn said.

"Like?" He pressed. Zayn looked at me, I was getting really confused as to where this was going now.

"I love Liam." He said, everyone seemed to gasp. I just blushed. "Yes it's true. I love Liam Payne. Liam Payne loves me." He joked. Everyone's jaw seemed to drop. Every cast and crew member in the room had their eyes drilled on us. "We've been together a year now. We just weren't ready to tell the fans. And since this is the place where we we first played What Makes You Beautiful, we feel like it's special." Zayn explained. I was actually getting a little annoyed. Was he going to let me talk?

"So it's official then?!" He said excitedly. "You're officially together?"

We laughed. "Yes."

Everyone cheered.

"So tell us tell us!" He pushed. "What made you fall for each other? The hair? The banter? Give us details! Wow. I can't believe you chose here! I feel so hounored!" He rambled.

"Well like Zayn said. This place is special to us." I explained smiling.

"But I want there to be one more reason why it's special." Zayn said turning to me.

I blushed again at his smile and looked down. What was he doing?

"I love Liam well... more than anything in this whole world. He's perfect in every way. I know it's so cheesy," He turned to the mic for a second, "Liam hates cheesy things." Than he turned back to me. "An literally, he's always on my mind. Even when I'm half dead." He said all of us slightly laughed. I felt giddy because he wasn't actually telling everyone. He was basically just talking to me. Zayn never really was one for expressing feelings.

"I love you too." I said.

Then, Zayn kneeled down. Everyone gasped again. My heart nearly stopped all together.

"Liam James Payne." He said.

I nodded like an idiot, unable to speak. What. was he really going to...

"Marry me?"

My breath stopped in my throat and I tried desperately to answer.

"Yes!" I finally squeaked. Zayn pulled a ring from his pocket and put it on my finger. He stood up and I kissed him hard.

Oh my god! What? Did he just do that? On a LIVE interview?

All the boys huddled and gave us a huge bear hug. It was al pretty insane in the tiny office for quite a while.

"You're insane." I whispered to Zayn as everyone still cheered.

"Don't you mean in-Zayn." He smiled.

"That wasn't funny." I said slightly laughing anyway. I kissed him again and grabbed his hand tight. Than we realised we were still in fact t the interview.

We turned back to our mics.

The crew was in absolute awe of the whole situation.

We laughed.

"Sorry bout that. Back to the interview now." Zayn joked.

Scott stood there shaking his head smiling.

"What?" We laughed.

"Just best mates my fucking arse." He laughed. We all erupted in laughter.
