Random things that come to my head randomly

Competition.

I walked across the dirt to get to my "house."
"I wish it would snow here." I sighed looking at the lonely blue sky.
I kept on walking until I made it home. "Mum! Dad! I'm back."
I walked inside the shed and placed a small package under our little tree. Mum walked towards me.
"Did you get it?" She asked quietly.
I nodded my head and she smiled.
"Where is he?" I asked.
She pointed outside and I raised an eyebrow before venturing out to find him.
As soon as I stepped outside I felt something cold hit me in the back.  "OI!!"
I turned around and saw my silly brother laughing. He held a bucked of water balloons in his hand. "If it won't snow here this is the closet you'll get.." He said grinning at me hurling another balloon at me.
I managed to dodge the attack.
After a while he ran out of balloons and I pulled him inside. "It's Christmas mate come on let's open presents.
He smiled and ran to our little tree and sat down. I handed mum and dad a wrapped gift which they quickly unwrapped together .  They both  smiled.
" thanks, We really appreciate it." They smiled holding up a new apron. They smiled again and gave me a quick hug.
I handed my brother his present. He smiled widely after he opened it. 'COOL! Lego figures." He said busting opening the packages and beginning to construct them. Dad looked at me and smiled before handing me a little box. I smiled slightly before opening it. Inside the box was a beautiful white watch. "Thanks dad!" I smiled I hugged him. "I think it's time to do our part now." I said smiling.
We all walked out towards the city.
I placed at hat in front of use and we began to sing Christmas carols. We got $5.00 in the end. I frowned slighty and began to sing again.
"Why can't anyone help us." We said slightly sad.
A man walked towards us and smiled before dropping three ten dollar notes in our hat. "May I join you?" He asked.
"Of course." We nodded and continued to sing again and more people began to show up dropping spare change in our hat.
"Excuse me Mrs Lady singing." A little boy said tugging on my shirt.
"Yes" I said looking down at him.
"I was wondering if you could help me?"
"How can I help you?"
"Can we borrow some money. We need food an-" i cut off the boy by giving him 10 dollars.
The boy smiled. "Thank you Mrs lady singing."
The boy ran off to his dad showing him the money. The dad smiled before going into the food store.
Soon after a young boy came running up to me. "Can I sing to please."
I nodded and eventually more and more people joined us singing.
We managed to collect a lot of money then normal this year thankfully.
I smiled picking up the hat and wishing everybody a happy holiday.

Merry Christmas everyone reading this.

I shut my laptop. "So is this real or not I mean she spoke as if it was a story. But it's true.  Oh well I'll find better stories to read on Wattpad."
I turned off my light. "And she must be so nice, I mean I don't usually want to get out of bed."
I walked to my bed and fell asleep to Christmas carols ringing in my ear.
