Chapter 1:
The rain poured down as I ran through the busy street of Sydney freezing cold looking for an open cafe. I hugged my scarf closer closer as I saw a cafe around the corner. I pushed the door open and warmth found my cold body as the little bell went off.
I looked around the cafe I'd never been here before, it had a warm cosy feeling to it safe even. I walked up to the counter as I looked at the hand written chalkboard menu. I looked up a pair of gorgeous bluey green eyes meet mine. A guy around my age stood behind the counter smiling waiting for my order.
" um white hot chocolate please" I asked smiling back at him he wrote it down before going to make it. He had blonde curliesh hair and wore a black singlet and dark jeans.
" a bit wet out there hey" he asked chuckling referring to the pouring rain and storm going on outside,
" just a bit" I laughed as he handed over my drink
" you new around here, I just I've never seen you in here and most people are regulars" he asked.
" um I've lived here for a while but just never found this place, it's nice" I said looking around at the cossiness.
" it is, $3 thanks" he said and I handed over 5.
" keep the change, ill see you around" I said smiling as I walked out into the now spitting rain.
I held the hot chocolate in my hands as I opened the door of my small flat, and let the warmth of it engulf me. I flopped onto the couch taking off my scarf leaving me in a white long sweater, black tights and black converse.
I pulled out my mac book and logged onto Instagram because I was obsessed and being the hipster I was constantly putting up photos. I was starting university tomorrow doing literacy and makeup, weird combination I know right but I'd wanted to do that for months.
I'd been living in Sydney for 3 years but I was originally from Brisbane and had moved here for Uni. I grabbed my laptop and walked into my bedroom plopping onto my bed I lived in a small apartment that was a two minute walk pretty much to everywhere.
My room was probably one of the biggest parts of my apartment, it had a walk in wardrobe and ensuite, king bed with a photo board as a head board and a old fashioned white dressing table that held all my makeup.
I walked into my walk in wardrobe and looked around deciding what to wear for Uni tomorrow. I had a huge collection of converse and doc martens and they took the whole boarder space of my wardrobe.
Most people think theirs to many but you know I love shoes. I walked into my bathroom and turned on the radio and put it on my favourite radio station 106.9 nova which was doing a night of local music. I striped down and turned on the shower and let the warm water hit my back. I washed my self and thought of the guy down at the coffee shop and how ill have to go there again.
I got out and wrapped a towel around me and walked out to my room, singing loudly and badly to some song. I pulled out my pyjamas which consisted off black yoga pants and a peach tank top thing. I put them on and slipped into my ugg boots before walking out to the kitchen and grabbing out some chicken, rice, and butter chicken sauce and started cooking.
