As Haley has said, I do not mean to offend anyone. These are simply my opinions and you have the right to respectfully disagree.
I don't want to ever do drugs or drink alcohol. I think alcohol would be a better choice for me of the two, but I at least want to be of legal drinking age. I am scared of drunk driving or driving under the influence considering I don't even think I would be that great of a driver when I am sober.
I will add that this past summer my mom let me try a sip of her "summer hummer" (I think that's what it's called). I personally hated it and don't plan on drinking anytime soon.
I think it is very irresponisble for teenagers to be going to parties and drinking and doing drugs. Why is that considerered 'cool'? Why can't we just be with friends and have a good time? You had so much fun without those things in your life so why start now? I know peer pressure is an issue, but if you really don't want to do it, then don't! I have never had an issue with peer pressure, so I don't know if I have a right to say all of that.
Please don't do any drugs or alcohol, unless it is legal.
I don't have a problem with people drinking or smoking legally, but sometimes it is a little weird to be around drunk people.
As for celebs, I don't like the choices Miley Cyrus has made, even though she is old enough. I think she is nasty and she didn't have to be the polar opposite of who she was on Hannah Montana. Sure she could grow up and drink and party, but she didn't have to go that far.
Thinking about Cory Montieth, I think he was a very good actor on Glee and I wish he was still alive, but (and I don't want to sound mean) he kind of deserved his death. I know, that is very mean, but you should think of the consequences before doing drugs. It didn't even look like he did drugs. Even if you have an addiction I think you should seek help for bad things like that.
My brother did a paper about legalizing marijuana and I am against him just because I don't want this country going to garbage. Also, I just don't want to deal with people who are high or drunk.
