Chapter 6

John watched as Jamie took some blood from Anna then checked her eyes and her blood pressure she had only flinched a little bit when he inserted the needle into her vain. She looked so pail like a life size doll. Jamie looked up at him when he was done.

“Ok here is my diagnosis she has been drugged once I get her blood back to the lab I should have the answer as to what it was that they drugged her with. She is also dehydrated so I’m going to start her on a saline IV drip just to get fluids into her just until she wakes up then hopefully ill have the results back so we can give her something to flush her system”

John sat there and listened to Jamie and all he could think about was the fact that she had not been raped and he could only thank god for that. As Anna was placed back in his arms he watched as Jamie carefully worked the needle into her arm he watched as her face scrunched up in her sleep as she felt the poke of the needle in her arm.

“Ok we have started the IV we will transfer to the helicopter in about five minutes then we should be able to get to the jet from there we are hoping that we will have no interruptions during the flight to the air field but as you know these drug lords don’t take kindly to people who know what they are up to” Tim finished as john came out of his own thoughts he stroked Anna’s cheek with his thumb.

Anna snuggled into his chest he made sure the IV was not pulled on as she wiggled around to get more comfortable they reached their destination as planed they loaded into the helicopter and took off to the airfield by the time they got to the jet the sun was starting to come up once every one was loaded onto the jet and the captain was ready for takeoff he set Anna on the couch then strapped her in and gave the go ahead to take off. He leaned down to whisper in Anna’s ear.  

“We will be home soon and you will never go through anything like this again I promise”
