Chapter 5
John sat in the suv with Anna on his lap thinking about the way he had found her. She had been tied up with a blind fold over her eyes and her arms tied behind her back with bruises running up and down them her head had lulled forward but her breathing had been steady so he knew she was still alive and he thanked god for that. As he was picking her up she had whimpered and he did the only thing he knew to do he whispered softly to her.
“shh”
“You are safe sleep, you will be home soon enough you are safe so sleep”
She settled down then he began walking out to the suv when more shots were fired he quickly got her into the back seat then got in and radioed his team that they had the package and to get out of there. After she was settled on his lap he safely had the blindfold removed she was safe at least for now.
As he was lost in thought his foreman and number two was trying to get his attention.
“Hey boss” Tim was saying when he snapped out of his thoughts
“Ya what do you need?” he replied
“Jamie needs to look her over so can u loosen you grip on her so he can examine her please?”
“Ya sure” he stiffly replied.
