Chapter 3. Lunch Time
Andrews P.O.V: _________________________
Finally! It's lunch time! I thought I was going to die of starvation.
On the other hand, my day wasn't as horrible as I imagined. Other than Mrs.Collins, all of my teachers weren't half bad.
When I walked into the cafeteria, I looked around for Sarah. She was the only one who really talked to me. Well, other than Caleb and this guy named Jackson who asked to borrow a pencil.
When I saw her blond hair sitting down at a table, I rethought about going over there. I mean, she sitting with all of her friends; I don't want to be a bother. So, instead of going over there like a normal person, I just picked a empty table in the corner by a trash can. Hopefully nobody would bother me here.
I put my things down on the seat so people would know that it's taken, not that anyone would try to sit there anyways...
I turned to walk to one of the lunch lines. I looked at all of the food and almost through up in my own mouth. That food looked disgusting! There was no way I was eating that! But, I'm so hungry! The only thing I ate this morning was a apple. Urrrhhh! I guess I'll eat the salad...
After I paid for my food, I headed back over to my table. I hope I would make a couple of friends so I won't have to sit by myself everyday.
I picked up my fork and picked around in the salad making a mental note to pack my own lunch from now on. Instead of eating, I decided to just look around. In the lunch room was only the juniors and seniors.
In the middle of the lunch room I saw Caleb sitting with a group of friends. I'm guessing that's the popular table. When Caleb and I made eye contact, he waved for me to come over. My eyes widened as I shook my head fast. There was no way I was sitting over there.
He's coming over here. Damn it!
Here are my options to get out of this:
1. I could jump on the table and scream like a maniac or...
2. I could man up and talk to him.
"Hey, Drew. Why are you sitting over here by yourself?" Caleb asked me smoothly.
"We'll, I haven't exactly made any friends yet..." I smiled sheepishly at him.
"Hey! I thought I was your friend?" Caleb interrupted me. Placing a hand over his heart like he was truly upset. " Come on over to my table."
"I don't know...I think I'm better off just staying here-" I didn't get to finish yet again because I was interrupted.
"I'm not taking no for an answer! You can either come at your own free will or I carry you...oh, and leave your lunch. That stuff is gross. We have food over there."
I looked over to the table where Caleb was sitting at. And sure enough, they had food. But they had Taco Bell. Man did that look good... I snapped back to reality and grabbed my stuff, leaving the salad.
Walking over to the table with Caleb was weird. The girls were glaring at me. It was only my first day and I already made enemy's! Great. Way to go Caleb!
Once we reached the table I looked around at all of Caleb's friends. They all gave me friendly smiles.
"Hey, I'm Taylor, but people call me Red. Nice to meet you." The first one to greet me said. She had long red hair, and to be honest, it looked amazing on her.
"And I'm Bambie. But just call me Bam." Said another gorgeous girl. I swear everyone here looks freaking perfect! And I'm just here like, 'the foods great here!'
