*Your P.O.V*

      We all crept downstairs, careful not to wake up mom and dad. We wore our warmest clothes and quietly opened the door. I accidentally step on a weak piece of wood and the floor creaked. Chara turns around and shushes me, giving me an angry glare. I quietly said sorry and closed the door behind us.

"If you're going to be loud, then don't follow us."

"I'm sorry. I promise to be more quiet."

Frisk puts a hand on Chara's shoulder.

"Don't be mean. Now c'mon, you said you were taking us there right?"

     She sighs and we all begin to walk up the trail up to the mountain. I grip on my shirt as we entered the forest. I began to get an ominous feeling and tug on Chara's shirt.

"I-I don't like it here Chara. Maybe we shouldn't go."

"Are you chickening out already? You're such a baby."

She pulls away from me and continues to walk. "Walk home by yourself."

Frisk gently takes my hand and smiles. "Don't worry. I'll be here with you. Ok?"

     I nod and try not to look around the forest. I remember Chara saying that those who climb this mountain never return home. I was starting to regret following, but I didn't want to leave them behind. We hiked up the rocky trail and make it up to the mountain's entrance. I fell down about halfway and began to cough. Frisk pats my back and asks if I was ok.

    My throat was burning and I felt sicker than before. I didn't want to slow them down. . . .

"I'm ok."

Frisk gives me a piggy back up the mountain and caught up with Chara. Chara looks over with an annoyed expression.

"You're so weak and pathetic."

I only smiled.

"I am aren't I?"

     She doesn't seem to like my response and began to walk faster. Chara really hates me. . . I don't know why, but she always has. It was taking a long time to reach the top and I ended up sleeping on our way there. Later, Frisk nudges me awake and says that we made it to the top. She puts me down on the ground and takes my hand. I yawn and rub my eyes from the sleep and see Chara already at the entrance.

"C'mon slowpokes! We're here."

    We all walk towards the cave and see a large hole in the ground. Chara turns towards us and smiles.

"(Y/n), why don't you be the first one to take a look?"

"M-me?"

"Yeah."

     Frisk walks with me and lets my hand go. She was a bit suspicious about what Chara was planning to do. Chara pulls Frisk away from me.

"Quit babying her. She can handle herself."

"Chara, let me go."

     I look down the hole to see a large bed of golden flowers and the way the hole up in the ceiling shined the light down on it made it seem to glow.

"Guys, look!"

      Before you had time to move out of the way, Their fight had turned to pushing and shoving. Frisk had grabbed Chara and fallen back towards you, causing you and Chara to fall down the hole. I scream and everything had turned black by the time you all hit the ground.

*A little later*

I feel a slight nudge against my side and hear a small voice.

"Um. . . . are you alright?"
