Chapter Eight

Chapter Eight.

                     

I woke up to the sound of my alarm, I yawned and got up. I was actually ready for the day. I took a quick shower before putting on lotion. I put on a PINK shirt, skinny jeans and nike shoes. I straighten my hair before just going natural, no make up just lip gloss. I grabbed my phone and bookbag. I decide to walk to school. I put on my headphones and listened to music as I walked. Soon, I made it to school. As I turned off my music, I ran into someone. I looked up to see Chase.

"Hey." I say smiling, he nodded before walking away. Strange. As I walked to my locker, I felt some hands wrap around my waist. I turned around to see Luke. "Hey babygirl." He says giving me a peck on the lips, I smiled a little. "Hey." I say a little happy, I looked behind me to see Chase looking at me as he was with a group of muscular brown and black haired guys. I looked down causing Luke to look behind him. "Remember your mine." Luke whispered as he pulled me close and kissed me, I kissed him back. He kissed my neck causing me to shiver, he backed me up against the lockers and continue to kiss my neck.

I looked up and made eye contact with Chase, his eyes were filled with sadness. I turned away and pushed Luke back, he sighed. "Okay, I'll see you later." He kissed my cheek and left. With a loud sighed, I got myself together and walked to class. I walked into class and sat down next to Kima and Leo. Kima smirked at me. "So?" I looked at her, she smiled. "How was the date, last Saturday?" She asked, I smiled at the thought of it but I was suddenly sad. "It, It was perfect." I say lowly, she gave me an odd look. "What's wrong, gurl?" She asked concerned. "Chase...he isn't talking to me right now." I say sadly, she gave me an look. "And why is that?" She asked giving me another look, I sighed. "Ugh I don't know. Why you keep looking at me like that?"I answered, she sighed.  

"I saw you and Luke in the hallway. Chase was watching yall the whole time,gurl. Look, I know they both really likes you and you probably like them. But you didn't have to hurt Chase like that." She said, I looked away. "And on top of that, I think Luke is bad news." She say, Leo mouthed out 'stop talking' to her. I started to get mad because I didn't mean to hurt Chase and just because Luke has the title as a bad boy doesn't mean he's always up to no good. "Look Kima, you are my best friend. But I don't need you saying anything about my life. I didn't hurt Chase and on top of that just because Luke is a "bad boy" doesn't mean he always up to no damn good. Personally, I don't think Luke is a bad guy. He's actually a sweet guy." She rolled her eyes. "Then maybe you should date his *ss." She snapped, I was taken back but I recovered. "Fine I will." She looked away from me, I turned forward as the teacher teached.

Leo

"She don't understand,Leo ." Kima said angrily , I rubbed her back. "Calm down, mami." I say, she shook her head. "Luke is just going to hurt her like he do to other girls." She whispered yelled, I shook my head. "Well maybe he won't. He seem pretty interested in Lyrics. So let it be." I say lowly, she looked at me. I sighed. "Look baby, I know you're worried about your best friend but she can take care of herself. Just trust her on this. And if she make a mistake, you just help her out." I said trying to reason, she nodded. "You right." She said before the bell rung. We got up, I grabbed her and my bag as we walked out of class.

[Hours passed by]

Chase

As I sat in my last class, I looked at the clock. My mind wonder off to Lyrics. She kiss him yet again. 'She's still figuring things out.' Oh like her making out with him is a great way of figuring things out. How are you even so cool about this? 'I don't know. Everything will soon fall into place'  The bell rung snapping me out my thoughts, I got up and left class. As I walked down the hall, I saw Lyrics and that guy holding hands while walking. I instantly stopped walking. They walked to a corner and started kissing. "I'm so glad we are dating." I heard him say as they kissed. "Me too." Lyrics said to him.

'She...She choosed him over me.' 'Chase, I need for you to clam down.' 'What does he have that I don't have?' 'Her haha.' My wolf joked. 'I am serious. I-I lost her. My soul mate, my other half. My amour.' I whimpered. 'Cha-' I shut my wolf out, I quickly walked out of school and got on my motorcycle. I went home and went to my room. I stayed in my room for the rest of the day.
