~James's POV~

I awaited Christmas morning reluctantly. Connecticut hadn't had a white christmas in YEARS and that was really the only thing I wanted. I expressed my desire for the fluffy powder with my two best friends, who wished the same. The weather was getting really nice, which was a terrible sign for me. Sighing, I texted Will to remind him of my sadness.

J: No white Christmas this year... :(

W: Well let's wait and see... :)

Confused, I wondered what he meant. He KNEW no snow would come this year. Why would he joke about this? I threw myself face-first into my pillow like a cranky toddler and moped. I surfed the internet until about 11:30, since I knew my parents would wake me up early. I drifted off slowly and painfully, my head swarming with thoughts and wishes.

I woke up at about 11:30 myself. Wait... 12 hours of sleep??? But... my parents... shouldn't they have woken me up? I quickly sprinted downstairs, nearly tripping on a few. Outside my window was pretty much bare, accept for one of the windows. Wait, what? Pressing my face against the window, I saw white flaky things falling from the sky. It was definitely NOT snow. Barefoot, I ran outside and looked up. I saw Leah and Will on my roof throwing down coconut shavings, pieces of ripped up paper, and white tinsel. I laughed as they dumped all that crap on my head and climbed the ladder down. Leah threw herself onto me and squeezed me.

"Merry white Christmas nerd!!" She screamed. Laughing, I shoved her away and she punched my arm back. Will kinda shuffled over nervously.

"So, who decided to do this?" I asked, smirking at Leah.

"Will!" She exclaimed. I looked at my blond friend who turned a deep red. Running up to him, I swept him up and hugged him really tight.

"Well, thank you!" I smiled. Wrapping his arms around my neck, he smiled brightly.

"Did you get what you wanted?" He asked, kinda nervous.

"Eh, not quite.."

"Why?"

"Because I wanted this!" I exclaimed, as I placed my lips on his. He nearly fell out of my arms, but soon leaned into it. Leah was screaming in the background, but I zoned her out. I only was focusing on the best present Iv'e ever received.
