Luka barged in the door "EXCUSE ME HOPE IM NOT DISTURBING ANYTHING!" she had such a smug look on her face when Miku woke up with no clue what was going on. "anyway y/n take care of Miku for me!" she chirped slamming te door "N-NO LUKA ITS NOT WHAT YOU THINK!!!" you had no clue what just happened. then the realisation hit after staring blankly at Miku's tomato of a face. Luka thinks we're dating
Miku hid under the covers to hide her flustered face. your face felt like it was about to melt. you hopped out of bed and ran out of the room to find her but then you remembered there was one day to the twins birthday and you still hadn't told Luka about the waterfall. that was more important, explaining the misunderstanding had to wait.
you finally caught up to Luka who was standing outside the twins room. "Luka, I was going to say, maybe we should go to the waterfall?" you finally got the chance to ask her. "you mean for the party?" she asked you as if she didn't already know the answer. "the twins both came down with the flu" Luka sounded disappointed and walked off. Miku suddenly came dashing down the hall "please don't tell me she just said what I think she did?" she mumbled under her breath. "yeah" was the only thing you could muster up. she leant against a wall and drooped down slowly. she started to sniffle. You had no idea how much of a big deal this was to her but you were determined to help. you sat beside her and wrapped your arm around her shoulder,
"why don't we go anyway?"
her face lit up. never had something you said ever made someone that happy and that made you happy too.
-- time skip to next day --
Both of you had devised a plan, you'd both sleep in then at 11:00 when everyone was sleeping you'd sneak out around the back, meet up and run to the waterfall. you had both gone to bed instead of having cake downstairs with the others. you decided to check on Miku to make sure she'd remembered. she was sound asleep in her room, you sat on her bed and stroked her long teal hair as if in a trance. you fell asleep without realising and was woken to Miku poking your side repeatedly.
