"You up yet?" Miku continued to prod your side while pouting. You groaned and sat up only the realising that 1: it was 11:00 and 2: you had fallen asleep in Miku's room. She seemed pretty chill about it though so you decided not to make a big deal about it. "Hey, Miku I'm just gonna go and change my clothes ill be back in a sec." "Ok," she replied. You quietly snuck out of the room across the corridor to your room. You brushed your slight bed-head and got a hoodie and a skirt from your closet and got a random pair of boots and walked back into Miku's room to check if she was ready. She had a cute frilly dress on and her hair was curled but still in pigtails it was really cute.
Because no Vocaloid was allowed to leave without permission, you had to sneak out a window. Both of you finally got out and began to walk down a pathway it was stunning but not as stunning as the view of the waterfall. the sky was dappled with stars that reflected on the rushing water like a galaxy right in front of you, the moon was a bright glimmering crescent, the clouds covered the sky like a blanket as the trees swayed in a light breeze with the sound of rushing water. It was amazing. No wonder this was a big deal for her, You had taken the ability to go outside whenever for granted and underestimated the beauty of nature.
Funny thing, that the obsession that had led to you staying inside and taking life for granted would make you realise this. If none of this had happened would you always take life for granted? After so many years of despising the life you live you realise your life had always been better than others and you chose to lock yourself away, but in doing so you had come to a realisation you would never have otherwise fiction had brought you to reality and that was partially thanks to Miku actually about 99% thanks to her you always thought nothing special of anyone or anything but now you realised everything is special in its own special way.
You had to thank the one who made most of this possible. But how?her eyes shone brighter than the stars in the sky. In the starry hazy night, you finally managed to stutter out "thank you, Miku, for every thing you've ever done for me," "I l-love you." she turned completely red and ran towards you like there was no tomorrow and almost knocked you over in a sweet soft kiss. that night you both went home holding hands as if you were glued together and nothing could break you apart
It was the best night of your entire life,
You had found your meaning.
