"Oh yea Sira work it." Danielle cheered me on as I whined my hips a little. I rocked them side to side as I used to watch my mama do.

I popped and rocked my hips to the music playing. I stopped once all the attention was on me because this wasn't my party.

"Girl you was killing it." She gave me a high five. I shook my head.

" It's hot in here, I'm gonna go get some fresh air." She nodded and joined the circle.

I stepped outside and inhaled. There was so much weed smoke in there I could not breath.

I grabbed my phone and called Dominic, since he was supposed to show up. I put the phone to my ear, to only hear it ring and go to voicemail. I sighed and began to walk back into the party.

"Wait Sira!" A man called from behind me. I turned around to Ant walking towards me. "Hey Ant, wassup, I was just heading back to the party. You coming in?"

"Umm nah, Uh I just wanted to say something to you before I drop out." He bit his bottom lip.

"Drop out? What do you mean? I mean why?" I asked looking over his face making sure he wasn't playing one of them silly jokes again. But his face was straight. He was beyond serious.

"I've decided to drop out because my dad passed away last night and my mother needs someone to help with bills." He said shedding a few tears.

"Aww I'm so sorry for your loss Ant. I wish you the best in life." I genuinely said hugging him. "Thank you Sira, I appreciate it even though I was a dick before." I laughed.

"Yea you were, but it's fine I'm over it." I shrugged. "Are you sure?" He scratched the back of his neck. "I'm positive. Just keep being you and don't change for no one." He nodded.

"I will. But ya homeboy?" He asked.

"Dominic?" I asked knitting my eyebrows. "Yea the paper boy." He said causing me to giggle. I don't know why people refer to him as that.

"Yeah what about him?"

"He was a real cool boy. No gay shit but he was a cool looking white boy." He said. "Uhh okay, what does this have to do with anything?"

"You and him would make a good couple. So find him and tell him how you feel because I know you love him and he loves you" he said truthfully.

How did he know that? Was it that obvious that I had feelings for Dominic. I mean he was the only one there, when I needed a person the most.

I nodded. " I definitely will." He smiled. "I'm only letting you get to him because I'm leaving. If I wasnt you would've been mine." He popped his imaginary collar.

"Oh my god, Ant go." I laughed. He chuckled, "see you later Ma."

"See you later"
