"Woah, that's a cool story, mom!" Marcus exclaims, his eyes sparkling.
"You think so?" Erza hummed.
"Yeah, that Lucy lady should have been put in time out for hurting you!" Margaret states, her cheek puffed out.
"Now, Margaret, Marcus," Jellal speaks up in a warning voice. "everyone makes mistakes. Lucy wasn't a bad person, she was just . . misguided."
"I wonder what that woman's doing now." Marcus snickers.
"Not married to Uncle Natsu!" Margaret joins her brother in teasing the absent blonde.
"That's enough, you two." Erza scolds.
A knock on the door makes all five of the room occupants turn their heads.
"Guess who?" the voice hums. One can practically see the grin on the person's face.
"Sir, is that . .?" Sebastian asks, his question trailing off.
"I think it is." Jellal sighs, a small smile on his face.
"I'm back!" Natsu shouts as he opens the door without waiting for permission. There's a large grin on the man's face and he is beaming with excitement.
"Uncle Natsu!" The twins exclaim, getting on their feet and running to the pink haired man. They both hug a leg tightly, not having seen ther father's friend in a long time.
"Happy Holidays, everyone!" Natsu grins.
"I'll get your luggage, Sir Natsu." Sebastian informs with a bow. He walks around Natsu and the kids and picks up the large suitcase.
"Thanks, Seb!" Natsu continues to grin. Then he turns his attention back to the Fernandes family. "And I brought someone with me for the holidays." He adds.
"You brought someone?" Jellal repeats, surprised.
"Yeah!" He nods before suddenly becoming flustered. "She's actually waiting in the living room."
"What!?" Erza shrieks, making everyone in the room flinch. "You brought a woman here as a guest and then you left her alone by herself!" Her brows were furrowed as she scolded Natsu.
"Um, well,-"
"Move." the redhead abruptly pushes past Natsu, interrupting him no less, and her children to go search for the guest.
"We should follow her." Jellal says as he stands to his feet.
The King, Prince, Princess, and Natsu walk through the hallways of the mansion toward the living room where this mystery woman was supposedly waiting.
But when they arrived in the living room shortly after Erza, they discover not only was a woman there, but there were also two men.
All of the guest were blond, the woman had blue eyes and the men had sparkling golden eyes.
"You obviously can't count!" Erza growls under her breath, glaring at Natsu who feels her stare and flinches.
*WARNING: CROSSOVER ALERT. TRY NOT TO FANGIRL TOO HARD, LOL.*
Recovering from Erza's glare, Natsu clears his throat as he begins to introduce his guests. "Jellal, Erza, I'd like you to meet Winry," He gestures to the woman, "and her friends Edward and Alphonse." then he gestures to the two men.
Winry smiles and waves at the royal family. "Hi!" She greets.
"Hello!" Alphonse does the same.
The third of the guest sits quietly, grumbling to himself with a scowl on his face.
Laughing nervously, Winry elbows him in the side of his abdomen, making the male scream in pain. "Ed, don't be rude!" She snaps.
"Ow!" Ed grumbles then he looks up at the amused Fernandes family. "Hi." He greets through gritted teeth.
"Welcome." Jellal greets back, trying to contain his laughter. "I am Jellal and this is my wife Erza and our two children Margaret and Marcus."
"Please, let us show you to your rooms." Erza adds, "You must be tired after traveling with this imbecile!" She emphasizes the last two words through gritted teeth while glaring at Natsu once again.
Winry, Edward, and Alphonse stand up at the same time, revealing their true heights.
"Woah, you're so short!" Marcus laughs, staring at Edward.
"Oh boy." Winry and Alphonse groan, knowing what's about to happen.
Here it comes . . .
"WHO ARE YOU CALLIN' SHORT?!" Edward yells, veins popping out of his neck and forehead.
"Pfft, you got a big mouth for a short guy!" Marcus snickers.
"WHAT DID YOU SAY??"
Winry and Alphonse smile apologetically as they grab Edward (before he murders the Prince) and drag him out of the room, the short blond still fuming all the whole.
"Fiesty little guy, wouldn't you say?" Jellal smirks.
"Indeed." Erza comments, "He reminds me of Natsu."
"What!?" Natsu gawks, "That guy is nothing like me!"
"If you say so, Sir Natsu." Sebastian says sarcastically.
The holiday season is upon the kingdom of Fiore and in the Fernandes Mansion, the royal family is preparing to celebrate with their new guests.
The holidays are a time for family. Erza was able to return from her knightly duties, Jellal put his work on hold, and Natsu agreed to come visit (although he didn't mention bringing guests).
But as the old saying goes, 'The more, the merrier!'
Coming from an adverage family and household, Erza never dreamed that she would be royalty like she is now.
But life is crazy like that, isn't it?
She literally went from rags to royalty!

A/N: Well, there you have it! I just want to say that I apologize if you had your hopes up for this story and was let down. There were times where I DID get lazy and didn't do my best work, and there were others times where I felt like what I wrote wasn't my best either. Nonetheless, I did enjoy writing this story (especially this chapter with the crossover) 😂😂 There will be one more updated chapter after this that will be a late Christmas, early New Year special. Take care, JERZA fans! 👋👋
