My eyebrows were scrunched in confusion as I stared at the birthmark that was plastered on my lower back. It was the shape of a crescent moon and usually, it was only a few shades darker than my skintone but this time... it was a tender pink color like that of a pigs skin that they showed you in kiddie stories.

The three little piggies were pink... right?

Or the color of Mabel's pig in Gravity Falls...

You get what I mean.

"Weird." I muttered to myself, touching the it but it didn't feel different, it only looked like it.

Was this normal?

A knock on the door made me jump out of my skin and I hurriedly tugged my shirt down before I stepped away from the full-length mirror in my new room.

"Who is it? If it's James Bond, awesome, but if it's Bob the serial killer, please go away!" I shouted to the door, heading to it while grumbling under my breath.

I certainly doubt the James Bond would give me a chance to even see him for reals but Bob the psycho was a definite possibility.

You never know. A real serial killer might be named Bob... Billy Bob.

I took the last few steps to the door and yanked it open, making sure my face clearly showed my annoyance.

I was so not in the mood right now.

Cam stood on the other side, a smirk on his face as he held my schoolbag in his hands. "So... someone said you needed this."

He was messing with me... He had to be!

"Cam! Cole said I wasn't going to school! He'd kill you if he found out about this!" I hissed, feeling worried for this guy.

Who knows what Cole would do to him?

Just think...

If possible, his smirk grew wider and he shot me a wink that had me blinking a few times. " See here... He's the one who said you needed this."

Huh?! Say what?!

"Could you repeat that again?" I leaned closer, having to make sure that what he said was what I really hear.

He let out a chuckle, shaking his head before shoving the heavy bag in my arms. "He wants you to go to school Leane and he wants to talk to you too. He's in his office by the way. Check on him before you eat your breakfast."

He was already disappearing around the corner before I could say anything. I was frozen, standing like a statue as I looked stupidly at the corner where Cam disappeared.

He said what now?!

This had to be some joke. Do you believe this? The stubborn jerk was allowing me to go to school?

A snort left my mouth and I swung my bag over my shoulder. This had to be a joke...

But still, I found myself walking towards his office and I was ready to face him... and get my pizza soon.

Whoops! Did I say pizza?

I meant pizzas.

Lots of 'em.

"Come in."

Sheesh! Even through the thick wood of the door, he still sounded the same with that strict voice of his when he's mad.

The door creaked slightly as I pushed it open and slid in almost silently. His chair suddenly spun around and his eyes landed on me immediately.

I almost smiled when I saw him.
