An endless night of ash coming up into the darkened sky as it always did in this time of winter. It was a very cold night as the fires started up again and again and again. They were endless until spring had come. All that was left of winter were some of the leaves that had lost their colors. As the spring came so did other creatures who had been hibernating for all that time. There were birds coming from everywhere swarming the beautiful skies happy to be almost home. One young female was soon to have eggs of her own soon. She was expected in almost 2 weeks. She had been flying so much her wings began to ache so much that she decided to rest. She swung her wing to the opposite direction of the big flock of other bird species. There wasn't anything she could find but a tiny old twig to rest on. All she could focus on was food and rest that's the only thing she was aloud to rely on. She slowly and swiftly landed onto the old twig. She focused on taking rest but before she could she saw an egg almost the size of her head. She thought it was one of her friends eggs or maybe a fellow birds. She thought to herself saying "Maybe if i stay here i could get rest and help." Since there was no nest she thought the female owning the egg was just starting to build it and couldn't catch up with her nesting before she laid her egg. She decided to wait for a few weeks until she noticed that the mother had either abandoned her egg or that she had been killed during hunting season. She wanted to see if she could locate the mother but she didn't have time. Her babies were about to be hatched and she needed to get to work with making a nest for her young ones. Two weeks later not at all close to her due date she had four eggs in total. She was so proud of herself but she was worried about the egg that wasn't hers. She knew the mother wasn't coming back anytime soon. The female bird decided to take care of the infant egg who now has an adoptive mother. Two more weeks pass by and her chicks have been born. The females name was beautiful and elegant. Her name was Aine and her children haven't been named yet. They aren't named yet they have just now been born. Aine finally decides to name her chicks Sparu, Chira,Mesou, and Nira. She had only named every chick expect one. The infant chick who hadn't been born yet. 6 weeks have gone passed and Aine's chicks are ready to fly now. Aine is about to give up on the hatching of the infant chick. She is about to get ready to take off after the teaching of her chicks to fly. Two more weeks go by.. Aine is about to leave starting to give up of the survival of the infant chick. As they are preparing to take off. There is a faint sound of an egg shell cracking. She knows it's the infant that is unnamed. Aine is now aware that the chick is hatching on the old twig. Aine now can either leave the infant egg or stay. Aine decides to stay to take care of the infant who she now names Wera.
