Before I start I just want to say
(y/n)= your name. Have a good day!

(Y/n) POV
It has been seven days since school started again after summer vacation. I was in grade ten now and I was already having trouble doing all the work.
Today I walked home alone, my younger sibling, (siblings name) had gone to their best friend's house. I was excited to get home and see Rin, my stuffed shark, (this isn't related to the story I actually have a stuffed shark named after Rin Matsuoka) happily laying on my bed away from the harassment my friends give him. I too was happy, walking down the street, softly humming along to my favorite song that was blasting through my headphones.
I turned my phone on, skipping to the next song when a hole appeared a few feet in front of me. I stopped in my tracks and fumbled my phone, almost dropping it onto the concrete of the road.
The hole seemed to float in mid air and had a red tint to it, but for the most part it was a glowing gold, almost like the sun. My mouth hung slightly ajar as I observed a boy come out of what I assumed to be some kind of portal, and now only stood about a meter away.
This boy was only a little over my height and had almost snow white hair, while his eyes were a light shade of Blue. He looked straight at me, I couldn't tell if he looked shocked or angry, but either way, I knew I had just witnessed something that he clearly didn't want me to see. Fear started to grow inside me when all the shock drained from his face and was replaced with determination. I didn't like that look.
I began to look around. Hoping that if I were to be murdered or something, there would at least be someone watching, or you know...trying to stop it. I was stumped, and out of things to do, so I went to the only option I could think of at that moment. My big mouth. I quickly began to think of things to say, a question to ask. But my brain refused to work when the boy took a step in my direction.
As his pace toward me began to grow quicker, I turned my head, and started to run away from the boy who was starting to scare me more then a usual stranger would. Not long after I started running I stopped because of the lack of footsteps being heard behind me. I turned around once again, to see why he had stopped chasing me, to see nothing. He was gone. I faced the way I was running for one more time, to be met with a baseball bat. With a loud CLANK my vision began to blur, but I managed to stay on my feet. I knew I couldn't keep my eyes open for much longer.
How did he hit me so hard?! I thought to myself. My eyes closed and I began to fall backwards. This is gonna hurt my head, really bad.
My eyes flickered open one last time, to a portal beneath the place I was falling. I didn't know where I was going to end up, but even though I fell through I portal, I still landed on concrete, and I was right....It did hurt.
