*an hour later*
Chase's POV
"Chase?"
I look up and see Ryan and Becca.
"Hey guys" I whisper to them.
"Hey, how is she?"
"She's doing just fine. She had a contraction before she fell asleep"
"How long did it last?" Becca asks.
"About a minute"
"How long has she been asleep?"
"About an hour"
Kennedy grabs onto my hand and starts to squeeze it.
"Hey Babe, another contraction?"
"Yep!" She says in pain.
"Breathe okay? Remember to breathe" I tell her and breathe with her.
"Ugh!"
*a few hours later*
Kennedy has been taking this as a champ. She's been in labor for the past 8 hours. She amazes me.
"Hey Sweet Pea! How we doing?" Lisa asks coming into the room.
"I want her out" Kennedy sighs.
"I know ya do Sweetie. Let's check ya" she says and calls Dr. Weaver down here.
"Hey Mrs. Elliott, let's see how you're doing"
Doctor Weaver smiles up at her after checking her.
"Guess who's finally 10 centimeters?"
"Oh thank god" Kennedy says.
"Let's get more nurses in here and we'll start pushing" she smiles as she sends Lisa out to get nurses.
"Where's Cindy and my mom?" Kennedy asks me.
"I'll go get them real quick okay?"
"Okay"
"I'll be back" I say kissing her head and running out of the room. I go to the waiting room and our family looks at me.
"Mom, Tammy, she's coming" I tell them with a smile. They quickly get up and they jog with me.
The doctor was getting Kennedy all set up for her to start pushing.
"I'm here Ken" I say and kiss her head.
"Good" she whines at the pain.
"Let's get started" Doctor Weaver smiles up at us.
"Okay Honey, give it all you've got"
Here we go...
Kennedy's POV
"Okay Honey, give it all you've got"
I push as hard as I can and I can feel everything start to stretch. OWWWWW
"Ugh!" I scream.
"Breathe through the pain, Babe. You're doing amazing" Chase says and kisses my white knuckles. (The Doctor might have to check his hand after we're done here...)
I love him so much. He is so sweet.
"Another big push for me Kennedy. You're doing great, Hun"
Let's do this. I push again, harder this time.
"Here she is!"
I take a deep breath and I start to hear her cry.
I start crying and Chase kisses my head.
