When Chara came to, she was puzzled. They did not remember much of what had occurred just earlier.
'Where am I?' Chara thought. 'Frisk?'
Chara took notice of Frisk immediately.
'She's so beautiful,' she thought, running her fingers through a still unconscious Frisk's hair.
Soon, though, Frisk woke, Chara being the first thing she saw.
"Good morning," Frisk said in a soft, sleepy tone.
"Let's go," Chara said. "We need to get going. I know my way around the ruins, so it shouldn't be too hard to get from here to point B."
They both stood up, stretching.
"I guess this is the only way out," Chara suggested, studying a towering doorway.
"Ya think?" Frisk said in a playful tone.
Chara laughed. "I mean, unless there's a secret door somewhere," she said as they both made their way to the next room.
"Howdy," a small, yet noticeable voice said. "I'm FLOWEY, FLOWEY the flower! You're ne- wait..."
FLOWEY studied the two for a moment.
"C-Chara?" he stuttered.
Chara looked shocked. "How do you know my name?"
"You're supposed to be dead!" Flowey scowled. "I guess I'll have to kill you myself!"
Flowey summoned his "Friendliness pellets" and shot them at Chara.
Frisk jumped in front of Chara just in time to take the hit.
"You IDIOT," Flowey looked disgusted. "Don't you know the only thing kindness will get you is killed? Well, it is a KILL or BE KILLED world down here, right?"
Frisk was ready to protect Chara no matter what.
"I'LL JUST KILL YOU BOTH RIGHT HERE!" His voice was menacing, almost demonic.
A fire ball proceeded to hit Flowey, causing him to go underground.
"M-mom??" Chara stuttered.
"What a terrible creature, torturing such a poor and innocent y-" Toriel noticed Chara's presence. "My child, I thought you were...?"
Chara embraced Toriel in a hug. "M-mom," she managed to say, "I haven't seen you in so long!"
"Oh, Toriel said, looking at Frisk, "This must be your friend, Chara. It is nice to meet you. I am Toriel, caretaker of the ruins."
"It's nice to meet you too," Frisk said. "I'm Frisk."
"Oh, it's getting a bit late," Toriel nervously said. "We should get back home now."
As Toriel led the two through the ruins, Chara seemed fascinated with the puzzles.
Eventually, they reached their destination.
"Ah, here we are," Toriel said. "Chara, why don't you show your friend around? *sniffs the air* Is something burning? Oh, excuse me, children."
After Chara showed Frisk around the house, they eventually got bored. They decided to go to bed. However, in the room, there was only one bed.
"I can sleep on the floor," Chara volunteered.
"It's fine," Frisk said. "I'm fine with sharing a bed if you're okay with it."
Chara blushed slightly, but accepted the offer.
Soon, they were both laying down, half asleep.
Frisk had fallen asleep and began to snuggle with Chara.
'She's pretty cute,' Chara thought. She drifted to sleep short after.
