About an hour later, Chara and Frisk were on the couch with Sans while Papyrus was in the kitchen making spaghetti.

"Uh, Sans?" Chara sounded calm, for once. "I think we might have to leave soon."

"And why is that?" Sans asked, pretty much not caring about anything going on.

"Look out the window," Chara said, motioning to the huge window in the corner.

A huge suit of steel armor was seen walking out of Waterfall in the distance.

"Kid, run." Sans sounded serious.

Papyrus was gone.

Chara and Frisk took off running towards Waterfall, but the air was getting thicker by the second.

A figure was seen through the almost blinding fog.

"HELLO, HUMANS!" Papyrus was blocking their path. "SANS TOLD ME TO BE CAREFUL AROUND YOU TWO, BUT I DONT SEE WHY!"

Chara was silent.

Frisk chimed in. "Papyrus, we need to get through!"

"HUMAN," Papyrus did not sound like he would give up. "IF YOU EXPECT TO GET PAST THE GREAT PAPYRUS THAT EASILY, YOU ARE WRONG!"

"Papyrus, please!" they both said, hoping to avoid a fight with their new friend.

The fight engaged.

"NYEHEHEH! I WILL NOT MESS AROUND IN THIS FIGHT! I WILL USE MY SPECIAL ATTACK!"

A bigger version of the animal-like skull from earlier appeared, with two orange glowing eyes.

"I WILL NOW CAPTURE YOU TO IMPRESS UNDYNE, HUMANS!" Papyrus looked very serious.

Chara and Frisk both dodged, two more blasters appearing and barely missing.

"HMM, IS THAT NOT ENOUGH?" Papyrus sounded like he was plotting something.

A slew of white, blue and orange bones flew at them both.

The last one was green.

Chara and Frisk tried to touch it, but at the last second, it turned royal blue.

"NYEHEHEH!" Papyrus sounded very proud of himself. "YOU'RE BLUE NOW!"

Chara and Frisk dodged most of the upcoming attacks easily, Papyrus slowly getting tired.

"NYEH... HEH... HUMANS..."

Papyrus stood up straight.

"IT APPEARS WE HAVE REACHED A STALEMATE, HUMANS! SO I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, WILL SPARE YOU!"

Frisk pressed spare and the battle ended. They both said goodbye to Papyrus and ran.

Eventually, they got tired and didn't know where they were.

"We need to find a place to lay down for a bit," Chara suggested. "You look tired."

Frisk was having trouble breathing, but didn't admit she was tired.

"That's it," Chara walked over and put Frisk on her back. "Let's go."

Soon, they found a smdall entrance to a cave in the darkness.

They heard a strange type of music coming from inside.

"This might be a good place," Chara thought.

Frisk was asleep.

Chara walked through, and the music became more distinct.

Chara walked in, and she saw small cat-like monsters walking around.

The monsters swarmed Chara, hopping onto her and Frisk joyfully.

Chara set Frisk down in the corner of the cave, the small monsters acting like a blanket on Frisk.

Three were in another corner. She approached them.

"hOI!" One of the said. "iM tEM! DoN foRGEt my FriEND, tEM!"

The second one said the same thing. The third one had a deeper voice, it said "Hi, I'm Bob."

Chara had to hold back her laughter.

There was another Tem in the wall, one watching an egg, one icn a shop, and a huge statue.

She looked back over at Frisk, all of the other Temmies had gotten off of her.

Chara walked over and had noticed that Frisk looked cold.

Chara immediately took off her sweater and had given it to Frisk.

Chara then lied down and drifted into sleep, not noticing the Temmies.
