The Rose and Dragon.

16 year old Draco was sitting on the couch casually with a leg slung over the armrest, he was watching Elizabeth and his two year old sister, April, dance to the newest song Nu Abo by f(x). Elizabeth was obsessed with the song. It came out yesterday and she had already listened to it a hundred times. She wanted to get their dancing and singing done right. Draco was tired of listening to the song over and over again but, he wasn't tired of watching Elizabeth dance or listening to her sing. He was so entranced with the way she moved that he didn't hear his friends calling his name out in his rec room.

"Draco." Elizabeth walked up to him and poked his cheek. She was sweating a little and tired but she couldn't keep practicing with Draco's friends calling him every five minutes. "Jong and Kia are calling you. April and I can't practice with their annoying voices," Elizabeth said the last part loudly for his friends to hear.

Chuckling Draco stood up and stuck his hands in his pockets looking down at her. He was six foot now and easily towered over her. "I thought you wanted me to critique your dancing." Draco smirked at her.

"I did but you haven't said one word about it," Elizabeth huffed and put her hands on her hips. At 14 Elizabeth stopped growing around five foot three. Draco made fun of her height all the time. "Am I that bad?"

"No you're not. Sorry I just spaced up."

"Drao!" Little April walked up to him and held her hands up to be picked up.Draco picked her up and kissed her cheek. He has grown to adore this little girl. She had beautiful brown eyes like his mothers and soft brown hair. Seeing Mrs. Chan, April scurried down and ran after her because she always has cookies with her.

"So it is starting to look good then?" Elizabeth asked while replaying the song and dancing to it. She loved when the girls did the dance while applying the make up moves. "Oh my god, Amber is soooo cute."

"I know, you have said it a hundred times!" Draco groaned and looked at Amber on the screen. "She looks like a dude."

"I know! I don't know why but she looks good like that." Elizabeth gushed and turned to Draco about to say something but was interrupted by Jong and Kai.

"What is taking you so long?" Jong asked at the living room entrance. "We are getting murdered." Jong was talking about the video game they were all playing."Ooooh I see the distraction."Jong smirked to Draco and looked over at Elizabeth. Draco just glared at him.

"Hey Elizabeth," Kai smiled at her, "If you need a dance partner I can always help." Kai said to Elizabeth and blew her a kiss.

Blushing, Elizabeth looked away and took an unnoticed step closer to Draco.

"Xiànzài chūlái!" Draco yelled to the two laughing guys who left.

"Sorry about them Elizabeth. They are harmless and like to make jokes." Draco walked over to her.

"It's fine Draco. I've known them long enough to know they are always joking. Now go before they come back and ruin my practice!" Elizabeth smiled and looked up at him. He just looked at her with such intensity that she felt her heart beat faster. Draco was closer to her than she noticed. Elizabeth put her hands on his chest getting ready to push him out but he grabbed her hands and leaned down. His face was a few inches from her, he could feel her breath quicken on his face, on his lips.

He had to stop this otherwise he would end up kissing her right here and that wouldn't be right. They were best friends and this isn't how best friends act. Coming up with something quick he said, "See ya later Rose." and left the living room with his heart beating out of his chest.

What the hell was that?  They both thought to themselves.
