A/N Ok, this is the first 'Memory Lane' chapter. This is set when Ami is 9, on her schools year 4 residential trip. There will be many parts to this. LuluSquidinator, you will know everything. On that point I think we'll start with the coach ride.
I jumped up onto the bus, excited for my first long trip away from home. I'd been on weekends away before, but this was different. My first school residential. Because we were besties I sat next to Lexie. And because we were Lexie and Ami we started a sing-a-long. The words went "We are going to to PGL" I can't remember the rest. But yeah, that was fun. (LuluSquidinator do you remember the song?) When we got there we collected our bags. But, mine was so heavy and didn't have wheels so I couldn't drag it and one of our teachers ended up carrying it down the hill for me. I was 9, I couldn't carry it! Then we got to our room. Room 71.
