Haunted Academy

Chapter 1

This can't be happening. I'm back to this damn place. I figured out this shit always happens in my sleep.

Anyways my name is Vanessa Ava Trent. My father is a vampire and my mom is a witch. You might be wondering where I am and how I lived and died. That's a lot of explaining but I'll do it though.

I am at the haunted academy and the only to leave here is to die because,I'm not fully part of the coven yet. The demons here kill me and take me back to my room but I resurrect because of my powers. They control me through my sleep so, it's an every day torture.

My mom told me of this haunted academy. It belongs to their coven the 'Nightmare coven'. It was and it still is the most powerful coven compared to the others the 'Black blood coven' and the 'Darkness coven'. Our coven can not be challenged. The haunted academy is where they learn and develop their powers. My grand father(my mother's father) was the head of the coven meaning he had every one's power and other powers no one knows of. The power skipped my mothers generation and came to mine. So being a vampire\witch I'm very powerful. I haven't even told you about my beauty and brains so I have ultimate power.

In our coven it was forbidden to marry any other being except your fellow witch or a human. But my mother being the stubborn one , got married to my dad a vampire. She told me he was so damn hot and any time he looks at her with those hazel eyes and that smile she's lost forever.
She was in love. She also told me she did not only marry my dad for love, but she wanted me to have a lot of power and someday have my own coven.

My mom has disappeared lately, and my dad is furious. He keeps looking for her Because he knows she can't die. I always tell him to calm down because, I know where my mom is 'the haunted academy'. I don't want to tell him where she is because he'll just storm in there and get killed.

Every time I find myself in the academy the demons try speaking but it just comes out as gibberish. I'll have to kill someone so the could use the body as a host.

Right now a demon is standing right in front of me but I can't see it but only sense it. I haven't developed my powers in that area. So I asked "male or female?". I heard a one syllable word so I guess it's male. It said something but I could only catch two words "don't....unconscious".
Ah I get it was telling me not to kill the person but only make him unconscious.

It's time to get out of here so I closed my eyes waiting to die and I felt the stake go right through my heart, my vision blackened and I dropped dead.
