Sup my name is DeVante Swing and of course I'm from a band called Jodeci. I'm 26 years old and I'm a total player man. Who doesn't want me I'm fine as hell too and plus I'm making money. That's why I'm seated here at the VMA's next to my brother Dalvin and Kici and Jojo.

"How long do we have to seat here in these boring performances", I groaned while Dalvin laugh

"It'll be over before you know it", Dalvin says laughing

"Up next performing his hit song give it up for Ginuwine", The announcer says trying to get the crowd hype up.

Here comes that punk ass niggah Ginuwine wearing a half torn shirt trying to show off for girls.

"This niggah lame", Jojo says in disgust

"For real, can I go now", I say shaking my head cause the performance wasn't even that good if you asked me personally.

After a couple of minutes of Ginuwine lame ass performance we finally had some good performers such as my home girl Missy Elliot and after her performance we all went into the red carpet and took some photographs.

"DeVante over here", A photographer says snapping a pic of me while I put my middle finger up

"DeVante yo ass stupid", Kici says laughing what I had just done

"Man now they know how I feel towards this lame is VMA with a lame ass people wannabe niggahs bruh", I say rolling my eyes.

"Come on bro let's go we got a important new artist to sign tomorrow", Kici says sighing

"You right let's go", I say following Kici and the others in the reserve car for us.

Right now Dalvin, Kici, Jojo, and I are at the studio till I see Timbaland walking in with some girl. I gotta say she fine

"Yo", Timbaland says showing the girl into the studio and she looks familiar

"Wassup Tim how you doing ma", Jojo says

"Hi", She says waving

"Ight y'all this is Aaliyah and this is Jojo, Dalvin, Kici, and DeVante", Tim says pointing all of us out and that's where it hit me this is Ginuwine girl

"Yo Ma ain't the lame niggah Ginuwine your boy", I asked her which caused her to laugh and it made me smile

"Yeah I didn't think he was that lame", Aaliyah says smiling

"DeVante can't stand yo man", Kici says grinning

"No one can't", Aaliyah says

"Well Ma welcome to bad boy records you'll fit along with us perfectly", I say giving her a smile which she gladly return back

After just chilling and hanging with Aaliyah, it amazes me how a James Brown wannabe can pull such a classic girl like Aaliyah. The niggah too stuck up and she is so down to earth damn.
