Amara Wilson
"Alright Cici, I'm leaving out. See you tomorrow hoe."
"Whyyyyyyyy?" She rolled her eyes.
"Because, I have class in the morning."
"I thought you were having fun?"
"I was but look at what time it is. You should be getting home too, you have to take an exam in the morning."
She had been trying to set me up with someone all night. She loved to play matchmaker even when I insisted she didn't.
"So! Don't you see all these fine ass brothas?" She stated looking around the crowded room. We were at a supposedly 'kickback' that one of Ciara's classmates invited her to.
A few people turned into twenty and then twenty into fifty and so on. I guess word got around fast. Gus was a pretty popular guy, he played every sport imaginable. I wasn't surprised when he took a liking to my gorgeous best friend.
She was slightly taller and way slimmer than me. She didn't have an ass but she definitely had the boobies. She really didn't need an ass though, she had a nice personality and was light skinned with a bomb face.
"I'm not about to play with you bitch," I say laughing at her serious yet funny facial expression.
"Huh here I come grandma." she pouted.
She walked over to Gus and told him we were leaving. Nodding his head, he waved bye in my direction.
Returning the gesture we walked out of the sliding patio door. Cici hadn't parked too far so there wasn't much of a walk.
As soon as we reached her 2011 Toyota Camry, she turned the AC on. It wasn't as hot as it was earlier when the sun was out, but it was hot nonetheless.
Cici's phone rang and her boyfriend of 3 years name flashed across the screen. Taking a second for the call to connect, Sydney's face popped into view.
"Yes Sydney?" Cici asked still focusing on the road.
"Sydney?" He asked looking like that Soulja boy gif from his interview. "My name is Syd, bae or that ugly ass name boo bear you be calling me."
Smacking her lips she glanced at the screen before returning her focus back to the road.
"You still mad about that shit Ciara? I already told you sorry." He smirked before continuing, "How about I feed you and then you feed me? I'll even do that thi-"
Grabbing the phone before he could continue, "Heyyyyy Sydney." They both laughed at my face.
"Wazzam A-town?" He greeted, "I ain't know you were in the car with her."
"Where else would I have been Sydney?"
"Shit I don't know... she could've dropped you off already or something."
Just as Ciara had did, I rolled my eyes. Sydney was like a brother to me. I knew he was right for Cici before she even did.
"Y'all gone stop treating me like y'all don't love me. And tell your bald headed ass friend to stop tripping over some chilli dogs."
"Chilli dogs?" I ask looking over at Ciara.
"Yes bitch he put all that damn hamburger meat in the chilli sauce knowing I don't like it like that." She comes to a stop in front of me and Tishara's dorm hall.
Our dorm hall wasn't that far from the fraternity that Gus held the party at.
"How else are you supposed to eat it?" I ask giving her a dumbfounded look.
"With just the sauce from the can!"
"You're weird as fuck bitch." I shake my head handing her back the phone.
"Ain't she!" Sydney butts in.
Opening the car door and exiting the vehicle, I stick my head back in, "Drive safe, I love you."
"Love you too, and tell Tish I'll see her tomorrow in class."
"Alright." Closing the the car door I get my student badge ready for the elevator.
I text Tishara to let her know I'm almost to the room and she responds that she's in the laundry room.
Not only is Tishara my dorm-mate, she's also my best friend and Ciara's for that matter. We've known each other since 7th grade and became the 3 stooges. Not the 3 amigos but the 3 stooges because we were all goofy in our own way.
Making it to the floor where my dorm is located, I walk with a steady pace until I'm standing in front of my door.
Sighing I open the door then set everything down. I start to get my things ready for a shower. Luckily we got a dorm with a bathroom in it.
I look at the clock and it reads 11:39pm. At this point I'm dreading going to class tomorrow.
Just one more day and then it'll be the weekend. 😩
